Lee Hajun had a very rough childhood. He was raised by his only mother since he was a kid thus he was looked down by others often. From the elementary school to his highschool, He was bullied and ridiculed by his own classmates. They called him bunch of names like 'Son of a bastard' or 'Mistress's son'.
At first, When he was just a child, Upon hearing such comment from the other kids around him, He used to cry and defend his mother.
"You're lying! I have a father and he just went somewhere! He will come soon!" He would say and kids around him would laughed at him.
"Hajun! Wake up from your little dream and just accept that your mother is a mistress" And they will snicker and walked away.
But how could little Hajun would believe such a lie about his mother?
He was just a kid back then so he didn't think much and continue defending his mother from those kids and those nasty comments.
However oneday, He even heard some of the women, who had come to pick their children whispering to each other when Hajun walked out from the school.
They glanced at him and one of them whispered to another.
"Isn't that bomi's child?"
"Seems like it"
"I heard that his mother is a mistress"
"Is it? Really?"
"Yes. I heard that his mother tried to seduce one of the married businessman but after she got pregnant, That businessman didn't wanted to do anything with her and left her"
"Wah! Such a shameless women! What were she thinking? Did she really thought that a rich businessman would even want to marry her?"
"I know right? Such a pity that a pretty child like him has to bear such a reality"
Their conversation turned to muffles as he ran away from there in shock and disappointment. But they are not saying the truth, right?
His mother is not a mistress!!!
They are just lying!
"Mom! Please tell me that those women were lying!" He barged into his house and said to his mom and to his utter surprise, His mother's face became pale and the smile that she had slowly faded away.
"What were they saying?" She asked and Hajun told her everything.
But the next thing that he heard only confirmed his suspicion.
"Y-your father is a good guy" She said and shook her head, strangely "He was just a little confused of what he want at the moment. He will surely divorce that women and come back to us. Just wait a little, My dear hajunie!"
And that's how he find out that the rumor were true.
But how could he hate his own mother?
However fate really does play a strange games sometimes.
After knowing the truth, He came to accept the reality and tried to move on from it until one day when someone interrupted in their quiet life.
One fine evening, When he came back from his school, A man visited them.
Tall, handsome and rich. And he really looks like...HIM.
Is that...
"Hajunie! Come here and meet your dad!" His mother smiled brightly at him as soon she noticed him and Hajun stood there and stared at the unfamiliar man before him.
"D-dad?"
"Yes. I'm your father. I'm sorry it took me so many years to come visit you" The man said and gave him a smile.
At first, He really wanted to get angry at him for abandoning them alone. But at the same time, He was very very happy to see him infront of him.
He has always longed for his father and he was now right infront of them. And he was even urging them to go with him.
So how could Hajun remain angry at him?
Even his mother wasn't angry at her husband and was willing to accept him, so how could he hate him?
After all, He is his father.
A tiny hope lit up in his heart and he thought that maybe...maybe this time he will live a happy life with his family and people will stop calling him a 'Mistress's son'.
But his tiny hope was crushed down when they were taken to his father's mansion and introduced to his father's legitimate childrens.
"This is my eldest daughter and youngest son, Miho and Jungkook"
It turned out, At the end, Hajun still remained a mistress's son. His father didn't come back to his mother because he realised how much he loved her but it was because his wife died and he needed a women to take care of his legitimate childrens.
And if he would be honest, He could never say that he hated Miho and Jungkook because they had always treated him like their one sibling. But how could he accept them?
How could he accept his father's betrayal so easily?
A hatred naturally born inside him but since he could not target towards his own father, own blood, He targeted towards Jungkook and Miho.
He didn't hate them but was jealous and angry at the fact that they were his father's legitimate children. And this jealousy even more get extreme when he met nara.
Infact Jungkook was the one who introduced Hajun to nara and from there, They became friends. But as the years passed, he began to like her.
Yet again, He was shoved with the reality when nara and Jungkook started dating.
He do liked nara however it can be called love in any sense however his jealousy towards Jungkook was so intense that he misunderstood his insecurity as love.
And that's how he made a promise to snatch her away from Jungkook.
Hajun wanted to keep nara for himself. As his only one.
He cannot lose from Jungkook. Not this time!
Thus, Oneday he finally able to snatch nara and slept with her. And he thought that finally she will become his but who have known that after all of this, Nara would still eventually wanted to go back to Jungkook.
He felt so worthless.
After doing all of this, At the end, Nara has still choosen Jungkook.
But why?
Is he that bad? Isn't he handsome?
He was also Mr jeon's son! His own blood!
Then why do everyone treat him so differently! He was a human too, He also has feelings!
Then why everyone think of him as a second option?
Whyyyyy?????
