Chapter 33: Her treat

As usual the classes ended in the evening and students began to walk out from their classrooms. Soon the once empty corridor were crowded and lively.

Lisa was also just about to stepped out from her classroom with Arin when a familiar figure greeted her.

Almost giving her a heartattack by such a sudden appearance.

"I'll eat some chocolate buns with iced americano" Jungkook said nonchalantly out of nowhere, quickly making Lisa stupified by his demand.

Clueless, She squinted her eyes at him "What are you saying? Do I look like a waitress to you?"

To her remark, He just glanced at her and shrugged.

"I already told you that you owe me a treat for making me wait for you"

"And did you heard me agree with that?"

"It wasn't a request though, I ordered you" He simply replied, gaining a "Are you serious" look from Arin.

To be honest, From the past couple of weeks, Arin has been noticing some interesting things between the two people infront of her.

She was sure of the fact that she don't like Jungkook and still consider him an asshole but from her perspective, Even though he sometimes do act like a complete jerk, He still shifted a little bit softer when it comes to Lisa.

Infact, The way he always pretends to be cold and mean to Lisa but still lingers around her shows the fact that he indeed care about her and has a soft corner for Lisa.

Arin wouldn't boldly assume that he likes Lisa but she was sure that these two people infront of her will surely turn into something more than just friends.

It just that arin's guts were telling her AND her gut feeling never betrayed her once in her life.

But would she prevent her best friend from falling in love with a guy that Arin herself don't like?

Of course not.

If Lisa also likes back that asshole, How could she interfere with lisa's love life?

As a best friend, She can just warn and protect her from any heartbreaks or enemies that may occur to Lisa in the future.

She is even ready to chop some necks for Lisa if that becomes necessary at some point in their life...

"Arin, You are coming with us, right?" Lisa's familiar voice interrupted her thoughts and she was pull back to the reality.

Well, It turns out that while Arin was in deep in thoughts on her own, Jungkook and Lisa has already come to an agreement of treating each other clock wise.

This week, It's going to be Lisa.

And then next week, Jungkook has to treat her. (Reason- Well, Jungkook also let Lisa wait for him many times so...yeah)

However, Arin shook her head to Lisa.

"Nope. I'm alright" She said and excused herself "I need to get back home to help my mom do chores"

Lisa was obviously suspicious of her strange excuse.

When did she even started helping out her mother?

"You'll help your mom do chores?" Lisa asked in disbelief "You're not kidding, right?"

Arin opened her mouth to reply but before she could say anything, Jungkook cut her words.

"Everyone is not like you, Miss manoban" He snorted "You should know that some people like to help their mother"

Of course, Jungkook was given a death glare by Lisa.

"And you should also remember that some people also like to dislocate someone's arms and legs" Lisa retorted and finally Jungkook shut his mouth.

Not wanting to see their love bickering anymore, Arin waved her hands at Lisa quickly.

"Okay now bye bye, I need to go. Will see you tomorrow" She said and hurried away from them.

Dumbfounded, Lisa stared at her best friend's disappearing back and wondered what was wrong with her today.

Noticing her confused gaze, Jungkook snapped his finger infront of her face.

"Are you gonna just stand here like a statue or are we gonna leave?" He asked and finally gain Lisa's attention. She glanced at him and scoffed.

She then without saying anything, started to walk while Jungkook followed behind her closely.

However as much the dynamic between these two were peaceful, At the other side hajun was being yelled by none other than nara.

Angrily, Nara stormed inside his apartment and screamed like a mad women.

"YAAAAAHHHH! HAJUN, COME HERE THIS INSTANCE!" She yelled angrily, glaring at hajun who was originally taking a nap on the living room's couch.

Hearing her yelling, Hajun stood up frowning.

"Why are you yelling?"

However instead of answering him like a normal person, nara rushed to him and grabbed his collar angrily.

"Did you lied to me? Huh?" She asked, her eyes boring into hajun's "You said you'll ruin Lisa. Why are you still sitting like a fool?"

Staring back at her crazy demeanor, Hajun couldn't help but to chuckle in disbelief.

"You...really are crazy, huh?" He asked, his eyes boring back to her eyes.

Glaring, nara pursed her lips "Yes, I'm crazy and that's how I am!"

Scoffing disappointed, Hajun grabbed her hands and pulled her hands away from his collar "Nara, Do not talk to me in this tone"

"Or what?" Nara smirked. "Are you gonna raise your hand on me?"

Hajun stared back at her but didn't say anything.

Nara Chuckled, mockingly "now what? You're not going to reply to me either? How pathetic"

She scoffed and looked away, in disdain.

"I should've known better than to believe you" Nara said, her voice trembling in anger "Well, I was right. You will remain a loser like you've always been!"

Her words were like a sharp knife sinking on his skin to hajun. But he did not say anything in response.

He just stared at her in disbelief that she would even say those words to him.

"Nara..." after a while, he finally muttered and nara glanced at him.

"What now?" She snapped "Are you gonna cry now like a loser?"

"I won't" Hajun shook his head slowly "I won't cry nara"

Nara stared at him.

Hajun however sighed and pointed his finger towards the door "Now leave. You shouldn't visit my place so often"

Hearing his statement, nara frowned "what do you mean by that?" She asked "Are you kicking me out?"

In response, Hajun shook his head "no. I'm not. I'm just tired. Now can go please leave?"

His tone was not angry nor sad. Nara couldn't able to tell if he was even angry or not. He sounded too casual for her liking.

But nara didn't wanted to stay here anymore since he was basically telling her to leave.

"Fine!" She snapped angrily "If you want me to leave then suit yourself! But don't forget that I'm not done with you yet!"

She said and finally rushed out from his apartment while hajun just stared at her disappearing back, quietly.
