Chapter 34: Nara and Jungkook's argument

By the time Lisa and Jungkook finished their tea and doughnuts, It was already evening. The sun was setting slowly in the distance, The sky becoming darker and darker by each second.

Jungkook took his last sip of tea and glanced at Lisa "Are you still crazily studying or have you come back to your senses?"

Lisa glanced back at him "Do you expect me to drop my studies while the exam is nearer?"

"It has more two weeks to go" He argued and Lisa argued back.

"Yes. Only two weeks. Not enough time to revise"

"Who would even bother to revise?"

"My best friend and I"

To her answer, Jungkook grunted and looked away in disbelief.

"You guys are really planning to top the country, aren't you?"

Lisa tucked her hair and shrugged "If not the country or school, at least we are aiming to secure a good marks. Not everyone is rich enough to afford elites colleges whenever they want"

However she didn't noticed how his gaze lingered a little longer in her tucked soft brown hair before he looked at her face and spoke in a calm voice "What do you mean by that?"

Lisa stood up as she was already finished with her cup of tea and shouldered her bag "You know what i exactly mean by that"

He also followed and stood up as well "Just tell me which college are you aiming for?"

"Why does it matter to you?"

Lisa began to pay for the bill and slowly walking out from the cafe while Jungkook followed closely behind.

"I was just curious. Just say it" He scoffed.

Lisa looked at him as he began to walk beside her now "Why? Is your kind nature is willing to donate some money to this poor girl?"

"I wasn't planning on that but if you ask me nicely then i would think for a moment"

Lisa rolled her eyes at his smug face "As if i would ever"

"Why not?"

"Because I don't need to" Lisa finally said, keeping her gaze ahead as they walked though the sidewalk "I will study hard and secure a good marks so that I can get into a good college"

Jungkook glanced at her side profile and narrowed his eyes "Why do I think that you're joining some sport college?"

To his correct assumption, Lisa's eyes widened and she snapped her head at him "How the heck do you know? Were you stalking me? Or eavesdropping conversations between Arin and I?"

"What nonsense are you sprouting?" He frowned, completely thrown off by her doubts "Why would I even stalk you? And eavesdropping? That's extreme"

"Then how do you know that I'm aiming for a sport college?"

Jungkook stared at her and said flatly "I just guess it- Of course I know, you stupid!" He scoffed "As if you practicing your ass off for judo was not enough evidence"

"Oh....right" Lisa nodded as the realisation hits her. She really completely forgot that Jungkook and she has been talking for many months. It just seems like yesterday to Lisa.

However she would never tell it to him or else his nose will skyrocketed.

"So you are really aiming for sport's college?" He asked and this time, Lisa nodded honestly.

"Yes"

"Which college?"

"Seoul's cultural and sport's college"
