"So why were you hiding?" He shoot me with the exact question from which I was running from. I frowned at him.
"And why would I say it to you?" I snapped and finally walked out from the cafe. And as soon I did that, The cold breeze of October brushes over my hair.
I breathed into the fresh air.
Today was such a weird day for me. At first, Out of all the people in the world, I encountered none other than Jungkook because of my bad luck and when I thought it was bad enough, I was almost caught by dad.
But it didn't end there.
For the sake of hiding from dad, I ended up coincidentally hiding with no one but Jungkook again and had to sat near him for more than 15 minutes.
Talk about bad luck.
Fortunately after 15 minutes, My dad finally decided to leave the cafe and give me some relief.
As my shift was over by the time my dad left the cafe, I changed back into my school uniform and was really hoping not to see Jungkook when I walked out from the staff room. But I was wrong.
For some reason, He was still there.
"Do you need a ride back home?" His taunting voice broke my thoughts and I couldn't help but to roll my eyes.
"No thanks, I would rather like to take a bus instead of hearing your nonsense" I replied as I started walking and heard a deep chuckle from behind. Soon enough, he catches up with me.
"Aren't you scared that I'll tell your little secret to everyone?"
This time, I glanced at him "And do you think that I'll keep your secret if you tell mine?"
"What secret? I'm not hiding anything this time" He refuted and I nodded.
"Okay then, I will post about today's incident into the school website"
"NO!"
I shrugged "See? Now stop trying to fool me because it ain't working" I said and looked away from him "And also I'm not interested enough to inquire about why you were hiding from some red hair person so I would appreciate if you also don't ask me why I was hiding and about this part time job"
"Fine" Suprisingly he agreed immediately and I couldn't help but to stare at him in surprise.
I mean if he was sparring me from his nonsense then I'm more than happy but if he agrees immediately...It is something that should be doubted.
"Are you really agreeing with me?" I asked and he nodded.
"Yes?"
"So easily?"
He frowned "So I should not agree with you?"
"No! I mean yes! I mean no!" I stuttered while he stared at me still frowning.
"I think you forgot to take your pills today" He said and this time, I furrowed by brows.
"What? What pills?"
"Sanity pills"
This asshole!
"Shut up" I snapped and walked faster to leave him behind. But Jungkook being Jungkook, He still followed me like a dog.
"Actually I was hiding from my best friend" He told me out of blue and I looked at him, a little surprise by the sudden change of topic.
"You...what?" I blurted in surprise and he gave me a side glance.
"I'm just telling you since we already had deal, Isn't?" He raises his brows "Aren't we keeping each other secrets again?"
I opened my mouth to refute but when I thought about it... actually he WAS telling the truth. Even though, Me discovering him under a table and also him seeing me as a part timer was a total coincidence but since we both have something to hide that isn't meant that we are keeping our secrets again?
"I mean... It kinda make sense" I nodded slowly and he nodde to himself too.
"See? It's not too hard to think logically" He said and a smirk appeared in his face "It will do make sense when you use your brain, Miss manoban"
This monkey!
"ASSHOLE!" I shouted and he just turned back and walked away from me.
"I hope you die in your sleep" He wished and without looking back at me for once, He finally disappeared at the corner.
"I hope you choke in your food and die!" I shouted back at him in frustration while some people around me stared at me like I was the one who is crazy.
WHICH IS CLEARLY NOT ME! IT'S JUNGKOOK!

Jungkook's POV:
Throughout the way back to my home, I was smiling widely like a fool.
And I don't even know if it was for Lisa's stupidity or her unfiltered personality.
I've never seen a girl like her. Usually the girl in my school are self-conscious about their looks and is busy at seducing or changing boyfriends.
But this weirdo is going around and hiding under a table like a fool...I mean who does that?
As long as I've seen, Every girls I've encountered had tried to get my attention with their sweet talks or boring beauty but this girl...
She doesn't even care about anything.
Instead of wearing make up like any other girl would do in her age, She is more interested in judo classes.
Instead of trying to make me impress, She is more interested in arguing with me.
I couldn't help but to feel amused whenever her thoughts cross upon me. She is really unpredictable. When I thought I've finally understand her, She proved me wrong.
With a lingering smile on my face, I get off my bike and finally walked inside the house. However my smile soon faded away when I head someone.
"Where have you been?" A familiar voice echoed in the silent living room as soon I entered the house and my gaze landed at a lady infront of me.
When I did not reply anything, She asked again "Jungkook, I had called your friend-"
"Don't interfere in my life" I interrupted her, An unknown emotions rises through my veins.
Hearing my statement, She furrowed her brows.
"Jungkook, I was worried! When I returned, You were not there in your room so-"
"So? So what?" I cut her words and glared at her "You don't tell me what to do and what to not"
She looked taken back "I'm not telling you what to do,Jungkook! I was just worried"
I could not help but to chuckle when she said that statement. Worried? For me?
As I glanced at her, Her beautiful and young face for which my dad fell for stared back at me. And as I take in her face, All I felt at that moment was hate.
The hate that always lives inside me the day she stepped into our life.
"Don't pretend you care about me, Cynthia Park" I sneered coldly "Just continue your great act infront of my dad or else he'll be snatched away by another mistress like you"
She opened her mouth to say something but I beat her to it.
"And Don't ever think that I'll accept you" I pointed my finger at her, The words that came out from my mouth were straight from my heart "You are NOT my mother and never will be. You are just a lowly money sucker girl"
With that, I walked away from there.
