Strange hosts a meeting with Tiana, Nick, and Serena.
Rei is in the other room with Wong and Ancient One.
Strange explains the whole situation to them.
"What should we do? I thought that the best option was to risk her Grandpa's life than to fight it out and potentially lose Rei"(Strange)
"There is obviously a tough decision to be made."(Tiana)
"I wonder what else they would want the scouts for"(Nick)
"No matter what we should not ponder on what they could be wanting the scouts for. It's useless since all the reasons are no-go's."(Strange)
"I agree"(Serena)
"Loki also once threatened the world if I didn't turn Rei over which makes no sense"(Strange)
"But you said that his heart got stolen right, Strange?"(Serena)
"Yea. Rei said she was familiar with enemies that routinely stole peoples hearts and every time you guys had to save them even if meant 1 by 1 which sounds tedious. But tell me more about these heart snatchers, Serena"(Strange)
"This was their routine every time: Plant a seed in an object, could be a tree for example. At the right time the seed will grow into a monster and that's called a heart snatcher. And every time we had to destroy them with my rod. I have gotten my heart stolen and Rei was the first one ever to get her heart stolen"(Serena)
"Interesting"(Strange)
"So what we are saying is that we have to either fight the heart snatchers to get her grandfather's heart or just let him go so that we don't have to get into this conflict to begin with? Why not give Rei a choice?"(Nick)
"Because I don't want her to blame herself. I much rather her blame me and hate me forever than to have her wallow in self pity because she's already blaming herself for not knowing what to do but really anyone would have the same reaction. Not that it makes it right but it's still not her fault and I want her know that"(Strange)
"Well then, it's up to you, Strange. If you decide to fight I'll help you and I'll take Rei back to stay safe."(Tiana)
"I know it is but I just need your opinions"(Strange)
"To me honestly it seems like it's a better decision to just let her grandpa rest. He doesn't even miss her anymore because you guys wiped the scouts from every ones memory"(Nick)
"But what training is going to help her right after her grandfather dies"(Serena)
"That's true. It may be altogether safer to cut her trip short. For some reason a lot of bad guys are concentrated on Rei. I had to kidnap her from Earth first because I literally heard the bad side talking about taking her"(Tiana)
"Wait you never told me about this"(Serena)
"Yea I guess it just never came up. But now you know the reason she came first."(Tiana)
"I take Tiana's advice. Send her home early and fight"(Strange)
"Ok. So it's settled. I'll gather my troops and send Henrique to pick her up."(Tiana)
"I'll get the Avengers"(Nick)
"I'll get the sorcerers ready and give a good farewell to Rei."(Strange)
In the other room
(Wong, Ancient One, Rei)
"Of course I want to save him but I don't want to cause chaos in the world"(Rei)
A portal opens and Henrique appears.
"Henrique? What's this about?"(Wong)
"I'm sorry. Rei has to go home early."(Henrique)
"What's going on Henrique? I don't want to leave him"(Rei)
Strange enters the room.
"Rei. It's the safest thing for you. We are about to start war to get your Grandpa back and also for other reasons too"(Strange)
"I'm sorry it has to be this way say your goodbyes."(Henrique)
"Can I just see my Grandpa for one last time?"(Rei)
"Of course, Rei"(Henrique)
Wong picks up Rei and they go to her Grandpa.
Rei tears up in hope that her Grandpa gets saved.
Wong tries to comfort Rei buy hugging her.
"I'll miss you, Rei. We'll try our best to save him."(Wong)
Wong goes back to Henrique and hands Rei to him.
"I promise Rei, we'll do everything we can."(Strange)
Rei nods her head defeatedly.
Henrique hugged Rei into his chest and rubbed the back of her head with his finger.
He turns around and goes back through the portal and the portal lead to Enrique's house.
He puts Rei on his table and then looks at her with sorrow. He watched her as she looked helpless.
