Damian and Tiana
"Damian, what's this about? Why is everyone going crazy?"(Tiana)
"Well, I love someone. And I think Mina overheard and started to get defensive."(Damian)
"Ok, who is it?"(Tiana)
"Ajak"(Damian)
"Oh, well she is lovely."(Tiana)
"You wouldn't let Ajak live here, would you?"(Damian)
"Of course not. You would have to choose to live with her or be in a long distance relationship. And think about Ami"(Tiana)
"Of course I'm thinking of her. It's a hard decision because I'm thinking of Ami. But I don't know how I can live with myself not staying with Ajak."(Damian)
"Well, it's a decision you gotta make. I know it's hard. But I can't let her stay here because I don't just let anyone live here and Ami can't go with you for many reasons, including, she has to stay with the scouts and it's way too dangerous for her out there. And to be fair, you would be in danger too, but only as much danger as the avengers anyway, so..."(Tiana)
Damian thinks hard.
The scouts
"What do you think Rei?"(Lita)
"Well, I do think that if it's troubling Damian that much, he should go for Ajak."(Rei)
"But in your opinion, do you think it's a jerk move to leave Ami behind for his own wants?"(Mina)
"A bit. But hey, they will all fall in love eventually and they might leave somewhere. I know it's hard enough for us to imagine what would happen if they all leave, but we have to look after their happiness too..."(Rei)
"What would you want to happen if Henrique falls in love? What would be your ideal solution"(Lita)
"Nothing. I don't want anything to change, but when do we get what we want? Again, I'm not saying he's not a jerk if he leaves Ami. He is a jerk but we have to let them let us go."(Rei starts tearing up)
"Mina, why are you concerned about it? You seem like you would thrive if you had no dad."(Rei)
"We don't what will happen if they are gone, and more freedom is not something I think we will get."(Mina)
"Why is that?"(Lita)
"Hello? There's other people that lay down rules. You know how many times Tiana has chastised me."(Mina)
"Oh yea. But like maybe there will be less rules? I don't know. I thought you would be the most okay with it."(Rei)
"Is there anything we should do? It seems like everything is chaotic enough. We have to talk to somebody."(Lita)
"Mina, I agree. We have to talk."(Rei looked at Mina intently)
"Why?"(Mina)
"Imagine how Ami feels right now."(Rei)
Ami
The adults continue talking at the cafe table.
At this point Ami climbed down the table and sat on a stone half wall and just looked at the pond that was there and just started to reflect and tried to relax and meditate.
Why don't the girls want her around? Is it really not that personal? Are they mad at her? Maybe jealous of some attention that she gets from everyone? But it doesn't seem like they want attention. But Ami is not an attention seeker either. It's just that sometimes, she gets it more than the others.
"Ami? Are you ok?"(Serena came up behind)
"Mmm."(It was hard for Ami to answer)
"Is there anything that you want to say?"(Serena)
"...Serena?"(Ami)
"Yes, love?"(Serena says like a mother would)
"Is there anything dislikable about me?"(Ami)
"No. Of course not. I don't think that they don't want you around..."(Serena)
Serena thinks about what to say.
"You know, when I asked them why they didn't want you around it was really tough for them to say the reason. You could say they are angry with you. But to me, it seemed like they are trying to look out for you."(Serena)
"Why would they?"(Ami)
"Well, I don't know. They didn't tell me and I haven't got a clue."(Serena)
"Do you think something is happening?"(Ami)
"Maybe"(Serena pets Ami head)
"Why isn't Damian here?"(Ami)
"I don't know"(Serena)
Ami looked down.
Serena continues pushing Ami's hair back.
Damian comes to the meeting where everyone is.
Ami gets up and goes up to Damian.
"Damian, watch out. Ami is going up to you."(Serena points at Ami)
Damian paused and looked down.
Ami looked up at him with the cutest puppy eyes.
Damian started to drop some tears.
Some of them actually hit Ami.
Ami doesn't even know why he's crying, but she started crying too after everything that's happened.
"Did you guys tell her?"(Damian looked up at everybody)
"We don't even know what's going on."(Darien)
"Well we do!"(the scouts flew in on the scene)
Everyone looked at them and lightly gasped.
The scouts landed and untransformed.
"You guys aren't mad at me?"(Ami asks them nervously)
"For doing what?"(Mina)
"Ami, no, they are not mad at you."(Damian says gently)
"Damian, are you going to say it or will we?"(Lita says confrontationally)
"I'll say it. I promise."(Damian)
"Damian, what on Earth is going on?"(Amara)
"I...fell in love."(Damian)
Ami's eyes expanded beyond belief.
Mina and the others approached Ami and put her hands on her shoulder.
Lita watched Ami's expression.
Ami was still standing there processing.
Lita held Ami's hand.
Rei hugged Ami.
Mina patted Ami's back.
Damian bent down to Ami.
"Don't worry Ami. I'm not going yet. I just have to think."(Damian)
Ami looked down and started to look a little angry and disappointed.
"Think about what? Just choose them."(Ami said blatantly)
"Ami, it's not that easy. I need you to trust me when I say that."(Damian)
"But I don't want to hold you back."(Ami starts to sob)
Damian sat criss cross apple sauce.
"But it is holding me back"(Damian)
"But, I'm letting you go!"(Ami)
"Hey guys, let's go to the conference room. The side with the floor cushions"(Amara)
