Episode 11: Meeting the Sorcerers pt 3

Typical Day with Rei and Wong
They woke up in the same room,
Wong would take Rei to eat breakfast, usually to eat something homey,
They would go to the meditation room to meditate and do Yoga for an hour,
Then they would go to the library to read books,
Wong would sit down with Rei on the table, teaching her how to read the books.
They would usually have a nice relaxing time together, almost like a Grandpa and Grandaughter,
Lunch,
Go back to the library, Wong would read the books to Rei, as many as they can get through,
Rei liked it, it was like he was reading a story to her,
Dinner,
Then they would relax,
Rei would be taken to Wong's room, and they would spend time together,
And go to sleep in the same room.
As anyone can tell, these two were getting along well, Rei truly felt from the beginning that she could depend on him for comfort and protection, as Wong would feel honored and well accepted by someone so vulnerable and precious, he already took her in as a student and someone he has to look after.

Strange
"Serena, What am I doing wrong that Wong may be doing right?"(Strange is in a video chat with Tiana, Serena, and Enrique)
"Look Strange, sometimes you just get unlucky, and for some people, it takes time to get along with some people, especially when they are vulnerable as her. For whatever reason, Wong was probably someone she felt right away she could depend on. She's put in a scary world, she's going to have to trust someone."(Tiana)
"I'll be honest, I had trouble with her."(Henrique)
"Yea, me too, and for me, it was before she became like that."(Serena)
"How was it like when you met her, Enrique?"(Strange)
"Boy, trust me, it took me about 4 months to gain her trust. She was angry at everything when she first arrived at this kingdom. She even tried to escape once. But, after a couple of months of just co-existing, one time she was feeling down and I helped her out. I took her to the beach and that cheered her right up."(Enrique)
"And it took us a month to get along with each other. We just became friends over time of fighting together and going through it all. Being in situations where we have to look after each other"(Serena)
"Oh really?"(Strange)
"I hope you aren't thinking of any ideas, if we lose her because of you, we will destroy you."(Tiana)
"Of course not! I wouldn't set up anything horrendous. I understand now that I have to give it time and find the right mood and time"(Strange)
"There you go."(Tiana)
They all get off the phone.

Doctor Strange felt someone watching him from behind.
"You were listening this whole time?"(Strange)
"Yes, I have."(Ancient One)
"Don't worry, Strange. Now you know, you just have to find the right time."(Ancient One)
"Thank you, Master."(Strange)

Friday
Wong and Rei were in the library as usual.
It was Friday and by this time, Rei could read the books, and she has learned a little bit about the Eldritch.
"Are you going to be ready for your training?"(Wong)
"I think so. Is everyone nice?"(Rei)
"They are just humans Rei. But they will never hurt you. Don't be scared of them."(Wong).

Training Day 1
Rei is in the training ground with other aspired sorcerers.
Thanks to all her reading she is learning very well how to do the basic spells. 
"You're doing pretty well for your first time!"(Mordo)
Rei smiles being proud of herself.

After 3 hours of training, the rest of the day was resting time.
Rei and Wong were eating together once again.
"Rei, you know Strange is concerned because he can't get close to you right?"(Wong)
"Really?"(Rei)
"Yea, why don't you give him chance? I know he did things that annoyed you, but it was for your own good. I mean what was he supposed to do? Just give you up to Loki? We can't do that, first of all, Tiana would kill us, also just because you're a living being, it's important."(Wong)
Rei thought about it and she felt a little sympathetic to how Doctor Strange treated her.
"Ok, I'll give him a chance."(Rei)
"You don't have to go to him I guess, just accept things that he says"(Wong)
"Ok"(Rei)

A few days of training passed and every night Rei would have tea with Strange as he suggested and they spoke a little every night.

Training Day 8
It's the night and Rei was finished with her training for the day.

"You've been doing great, Rei. I feel like you are very capable of fending for yourself"(Strange)
"Thank you..."(Rei)
There was still an awkward tension in their relationship but it's getting better little by little.
"Do you miss your pals back in Maho no Kuni?"(Strange)
"I miss the pals but..."(Rei)
"But?"(Strange)
"I miss being on earth...a lot"(Rei)
"So are you happy to be back on Earth?"(Strange)
"Not exactly, I'm not the same that I used to be...you know? So it's not the same"(Rei)
"I understand. Is it because you miss someone?"(Doctor Strange)
Rei starts to cry.
"I miss my grandpa"(Rei sobs more profusely)
Strange looks at her with sympathetic eyes.
"What happened to him?"(Strange)
"I don't know...I don't know if he's alive, dead, or sick. I am in pain because I want to check on him, but I can't because they never let us give have a break to check on our loved ones."(Rei breaks down more)
"Is there something I can do to make you feel better?"(Strange pets her face and wipes her tears)
"I want to see my temple, I want to see my grandpa."(Rei)
"I will see what I can do."(Strange)

Wong
Wong is behind the wall watching the scene unfold with a grateful face. He's finally getting closer to her! Just like he wanted.
