Day 2
Hawk just decided to have a nice relaxing day with Mina at home.
After they ate breakfast Mina was just loafing on the living room floor.
"Mina, do you want to make nice things for the girls?"(Hawk goes up to her after cleaning up the kitchen)
"Like what?"(Mina)
"I don't know, maybe soap, charms, or some candles?"(Hawk)
"Ok,"(Mina)
"So, which one do you want to do? We can go to the shop and find things."(Hawk)
"I think candles"(Mina)
"Ok, let's go then."(Hawk)
Hawk and Mina and they head to the grocery store and visited the craft section.
They find wax then they find multiple candle dyes. Then they find the other materials for candle making and head home.
They sit across from each other on the floor and get ready to make the candles.
"So you chose Red, blue, green, and white?"(Hawk)
"Yea"(Mina)
"What is the white for?"(Hawk)
"I want to lighten them up. The girls like pastel colors more than brighter colors."(Mina)
Hawk started melting the wax. Although the wax melting pot was way bigger than Mina. He handled all the things that she wasn't able to do.
They wait for the wax to smooth and melt out.
"Hawk? Do you like all the scouts equally?"(Mina asks out of curiosity)
"All the others besides you?"(Hawk)
"No. Including me."(Mina)
"No. I love you the most. Why?"(Hawk)
"Sometimes I feel like everyone likes Ami the most."(Mina)
"Well, make no mistake Mina. I personally do care about all of them. If Ami was in trouble or if she's present I won't ignore her. I'd protect her."(Hawk)
"I don't mind if everyone likes her the most. I just hope that you like me more than her."(Mina crosses her arms)
"Mina, are you jealous?"(Hawk chuckles)
"I'll be honest. I only care if you like me. I never said this to anyone else and I thought you'd be weirded out."(Mina says sassily)
"Why would I be weirded out, sweetie? And of course, like I said. I care about you the most. I've been friends with the other dads for years. But if I had to choose to save them or you I'd choose you in a heartbeat."(Hawk)
Mina smiled.
"Well, the wax is all melted. And let me pour it. It's too hot."(Hawk)
Hawk carefully poured the wax into the 4 sailor size candle jars.
"Wait for them to cool a bit before we add the decorations and colors."(Hawk)
Mina gets ready to put the colors in.
"Mina, I never knew that you cared about how I felt about you"(Hawk)
"Well deep down I always wanted to. Despite what I said about you and how I acted. I did want to be closer with you. But I just have been so angry so many times and it felt like you were the reason for my anger."(Mina says carefully)
"You talked about me before?"(Hawk)
Mina sighs.
"I basically told the Trinity that I didn't want you to care about me because if you didn't care then I would be able to see the girls whenever I wanted. But I said that because...I thought that you don't really think about me the way that I wished you did."(Mina)
"So, that's why you told the Trinity that you felt controlled?"(Hawk)
During this conversation Mina mixed the candle wax with colors.
"Yes. My wish was that I wouldn't have to ask to be with the scouts because to me that felt like too much to ask every time. Also because when I explained the whole thing to them, I felt like I've gotten manipulated because you guys did the worst to me and then after you did the worst to me, I had to trust and follow directions by people who kidnapped me."(Mina)
"So, how did you feel about me at first?"(Hawk)
"I was just scared of you. Also angry at the situation."(Mina)
"I see."(Hawk)
"Then the Trinity reminded me that if they kidnapped me any other way, I wouldn't have gone along with it. And I told the Avengers that I wished none of this happened and that I could still have my old life. The bad guys on earth tried to bribe me and Ami by telling us that he'll help us go back to our normal lives if we did what he said..."(Mina)
"What?! What did you guys tell them?"(Hawk)
"I hesitated and so did Ami."(Mina)
"Ami hesitated?"(Hawk)
"Yes we both thought about taking it. That's when the Avengers sat us down and asked us what happened and we told them and that's when they told us that we should feel lucky."(Mina)
"Mina, I'm sorry that happened to you."(Hawk pet Mina's head)
"I hope I've made it up to you. Since now you want my love I'll be there to cheer you up whenever you need it."(Hawk)
By this time they finished candle making.
"Mina! These look so cute! I know that the girls will love them. Especially since you made it."(Hawk)
"Thank you for helping me."(Mina)
"No problem kiddo. I love spending time with you."(Hawk)
"Actually, I like it too."(Mina)
"So what do you want to do on the fourth day?"(Hawk)
"I want to sit near a fire and make S'mores."(Mina)
"That's a great idea!"(Hawk)
Day Three
It was Mina's turn to go spend time with Serena.
Hawk arrived at the house with Mina in his hand.
He gives Mina to Serena and goes back home.
"Mina, what's that you got in your hand?"(Serena notices a gift bag in Mina's hand)
"It's a gift..."(Mina)
"Who is it for?"(Serena)
"....For Artemis"(Mina)
Serena realizes that back on earth Artemis was Mina's cat.
