"You can sleep in here, it's really no problem." Tsunami insisted

"No, it's quite alright. Besides we're ninja, it's common for us to sleep outside." Kakashi said

"Man, I was really looking forward to sleeping in a bed." Naruto mumbled

Team 7 set their sleeping bags on the ground, Sasuke noticed that Naruto put his sleeping bag right next to Hinata's.

"Hey Dobe, don't put your sleeping bag right next to Hinata."

"Why not, Teme?" Naruto questioned

"Because she's a girl." Sasuke reasoned

"What does me being a girl have to do with this? Besides if an emergency happens in the middle of the night, won’t it be more beneficial to sleep by each other?” Hinata suggested.

“What if Naruto tries something in the middle of the night?”

“What the hell?! Do I look like the type of person to take advantage of someone like Hinata?” Naruto was bright red, though the meaning still seemed to fly over the heiress’s head.

“It’s fine, when my father has us go camping I share a sleeping space with my cousin and sister all the time.” Hinata said

“Let me get this straight, you don’t see an issue with guys and girls sleeping in close proximity.” Sasuke tested.

“I mean, on missions often teams are only supplied a singular tent.” Hinata said, remembering something she read in a book about shinobi at the Academy

"Well if Naruto's sleeping next to you, then I will as well." Sasuke placed his bag next to Hinata's

"Great! The more, the merrier!" Hinata said innocently

They all settled fown and went to sleep. Kakashi came back and saw Sasuke and Naruto cuddling up to Hinata, with a peaceful look on her face.

'Aww... How cute. Their really growing closer, aren't they.'

Kakashi put a blanket over them and went to sleep himself.

Hinata woke up earlier than everyone else, deciding to put some extra training in. She carefully got up, not to disturb Sasuke and Naruto. She walked for a bit before standing in front of a tree, deciding that it'll be her test dummy.

She ran at it, activating her Twin Lion Fist. She placed her hands on the trunk of the tree, trying to absorb it's chakra. Hinata looked at the tree and her hands, nothing was happening. Hinata threw her head back in frustration.

"Aghh! Why can't I do this?! I've been practicing amd practicing but yet I still can't do it! Why?!" Hinata yelled at no one

"Are you alright?" Someone asked from behind her

It was a pretty girl with smooth pale skin, beautiful long brown hair, and honey brown eyes. She was wearing a simple pink kimono and had a basket in her hands.

"Are you alright?" She asked again

Hinata’s brain finally got back to reality. "O-Oh I'm fine. Just frustrated that I'm getting any progress in my training." Hinata’s face was flustered

"I see. I noticed the headband around your neck, are you a shinobi?"

"Yeah!- I mean yes, I'm a shinobi from the Hidden Leaf. Hinata Hyuga, what's your name?" Hinata put her hand out

"Haku." The girl shook her hand

"So Haku, what are you doing out here?"

"I'm collecting herbs to heal someone very special to me. What about you, do you have someone special?" Haku asked her

Hinata flustered. "W-Well, my teammates are special to me. Do they count?"

"Are they the reason why you're training so hard?" Haku asked

Hinata looked down at the ground. "No not really. You see, I come from a special clan with a very sought out Kekkei Genkai. My clan was split into 2, the main house and the branch house. The branch house are servants to the main house, they put a curse seal on them to give the main house absolute control. If they refuse, the curse seal will destroy their brain cells and caise them great pain with a simple hand gesture. I train hard to become the clan leader and get rid of the seal, that is why I train so hard." Hinata answered

Haku only hummed. "Do you want to help me pick herbs?" Haku asked, changing the subject

Hinata nodded and started picking herbs with Haku. Haku noticed that Hinata was only picking specific herbs.

"You seem to know a lot about herbs." Haku said

"I make healing ointment as a hobby, though my father probably wouldn't approve." Hinata said

"Hmm... Do you have any issues with your father?" Haku asked

Hinata stopped what she was doing for a moment before looking at Haku.

"I-I... I have some feelings of resentment towards him." Hinata admitted

"How so?"

"Since I'm the heiress to my clan, he expects me to be perfect. Whenever I make a mistake, I can feel his eyes of disappointment on me. He wanted me be a beautiful, perfect heiress who only smiles but that's not what I am! I practically begged him to let me become a ninja! As much as I tried to hide it from my family, I love fighting! I love reading and studying new jutsu's, but my clan is to stuck up on their pride to learn anything else! I watched some of my clan members use the caged bird seal to hurt my cousin! Sometimes at night, I can hear his screams echoing through my mind! As my father, the supposed clan head, turns a blind eye to their pain!" Hinata took a deep breath, finishing her rant

Haku looked at her with wide eyes. "I-I'm sorry you had to go through that."

"It's fine. It happened a long time ago, I'm over it now." Hinata said

"But are you though?"

Haku took her basket and started to leave.

"Oh and by the way, I'm a boy." Haku said before she-he left

Hinata stared at where Haku once was.

"Hahhhh!!!???"
