All In The Eyes

Chapter 23

Naruto and Sasuke stood side by side against Haku. They both had needles sticking out of their bodies, Sasuke had more because he wasn't able to dodge as many as Naruto.

"Hey Sasuke, you know some fire jutsu's right?" Naruto askd him

"Yeah, why?"

"What's ice weak to?" Naruto grabbed one of his fireball seals

"I get it now. Fire Style: Grand Fireball Jutsu!"

"Sealing Technique: Incineration!"

Both streams of fire combined and were aimed at the targeted mirror. When the flames dissappeared, the mirror looked like it barley melted.

"Huh?! All that fire and it did nothing!" Naruto said

"You'll need more than that." Haku said

"Then I got just the thing. Shadow Clone Jutsu!" A dozen Naruto clones appeared

They all tried to escape but Haku took them all down easily. Naruto tried again and again but it wasn't working. Naruto was about to try again but Sasuke stopped him.

"Naruto, you need to stop and think of a plan. If you pass out from chakra exhaustion, I might not be able to protect you." Sasuke said

"Sasuke...-AHHH!" Haku threw some of his needles in Naruto's leg and made him fall to the floor

Haku flew out of his mirror and kicked Sasuke away from Naruto. Haku slashed Naruto's face with one of his needles, slash marks marked Naruto's cheeks. Haku kicked Naruto onto his back and stabbed needles around his stomach and chest. Naruto turned to his side to protect his stomach and chest.

Sasuke got up and saw Naruto in pain on the floor. His eyes were starting to hurt as he rushed up and tried to kicked Haku. Haku easily dodged it but it gave Naruto enough time to reach for oneof his seals.

"Sealing Technique: Static Electricity." He placed the seal on one of Haku's legs

The static electricity in the air was being absorbed by the seal and was put through Haku's body. Electricity flowed through Haku as he tried to run back to he safety of his mirrors. He ripped the seal and froze and shattered it. Haku looked at Sasuke, suprised to see an activated Sharingan.

"Hmm it seem you've activated your Kekkei Genkai, shame that you'll never use it.That stunt just cost you your lives." Haku said

Haku threw dozens of his needles and were aimed for Naruto. Naruto closed his eyes, waiting for the needles to hit but they never came.

Naruto opened his eyes and was horrified by what he saw.

Sasuke stood over him protectively, his arms out wide. He coughed up blood from the needles that punctured his throat. His knees gave out and Naruto caught him.

"S-Sasuke... why? Why would you risk yourself for me?" Naruto asked with tears in his eyes

"E-Ever since my family died, it was dark and lonely for me.... but ever since I've met y-you and H-Hinata, you've both have become a light against the darkness in my life. And I c-can't bear to see either of you die, I-I don't wanna lose that light again..." Sasuke went unconscious

"S-Sasuke...? Sasuke! SASUKE! WAKE UP, please wake up!" Naruto tried to awaken Sasuke

Naruto held Sasuke close, his face in the crook of his neck. "You were a light in my life too Sasuke..."

Naruto let his tears fall.

"He knew that it was a trap but he acted anyways. He risked his life for you, a comrade. He died a true shinobi, one with honor-"

"Shut up."

Haku stopped mid way into his mirror, looking at Naruto.

"You'll pay for this..."

Naruto set Sasuke down gently and turned to Haku. Red chakra started to seep from his seal and surround his body. The needles in his skin were pusjed out and healed instantly. His fingernails turned into claws and his whiskers turned more wild.

"I'm gonna kill you." Naruto looked at Haku with blood red slited eyes

'Kit! Kit, what's happening?!' Kurama yelled from inside his mind

Naruto then dissappeared, only to reappear in front of the mirror Haku was in and smashed the mirror with his fist. The mirror shards cut his fist but they were healed instantaneously. Haku dove into another mirror and tried to hit Naruto with more needles. Before they hit Naruto, he grabbed them before they even hit him.

'This speed... He grabbed my needles before they struck him. He's faster than me!'

Haku dove from mirror to mirror, try to dodge the rampaging Naruto. As he was jumping between mirrors, Naruto grabbed Haku by his foot and threw him on the ground.

Naruto then came over him. The aura of red chakra could feel almost burning. Haku looked up at Naruto, his whole body was covered in this aura of red chakra. His eyes looked at him with a suppressed rage, his blonde hair looked blood red. The red chakra formed fox ears on his head and nine tails out of his spine.

Naruto jumped down amd started punching Haku. Hard. Cracks in the concrete formed after each punch.

Haku forced in lower body up and kicked Naruto in the face, giving him the chance to get away. Haku got back into the safety of the mirrors and threw needles at Naruto from all around.

The needles hardly affected Naruto but threw was a sharp pain in Naruto's back. Chains came out of his back and ripped his jacket and shirt. The chains flew out and broke every single mirror.

Haku flew out of the mirrors as they were all shattered but one of the chains grabbed him and pulled him to the floor. Haku collided with the floor and left a big crater. The dust from the crater cleared and Naruto saw Zabuza strangling Hinata in the air and holding a kunai in her stomach.
