After they got back to Konoha, Team 7 did a few D rank mission for a while. They were simple task like gardening, pet sitting, things like that.

Naruto stood in his newly fixed apartment in front of the mirror. For the last few days, he noticed his roots turned more and more red. Hinata and Sasuke asked about this and Naruto said he didn't know. Naruto asked Hiruzen which he said.

"One of the traits of the Uzumaki Clan is their bright red hair. Maybe it was a dormant gene unit you unlocked your Kekkei Genkai."

Naruto brushed his hair, looking at his red roots before he made a decision. He grabbed his frog wallet and went to the store.

"Naruto, it's time for another mission." Hinata knocked on Naruto's apartment door

Hinata and Sasuke stood outside until they heard a lock unlocking. The door opened to reveal a shirtless Naruto with red hair.

"Oh hey guys." Naruto greeted

Naruto didn't notice the blushing looks on both of his teammates faces. While Sasuke's was more discreet, it was still very noticeable.

Naruto was well built for someone his age. His tanned skin, ocean blue eyes, his whiskers, and now his red hair just made him too much for Hinata and she passed out.

"Ahh Hinata!" Naruto rushed to Hinata's side

"Naruto, why is your hair red?" Sasuke asked, his hand covering his blushing face

"Well I was tired of my glaring roots, so I thought 'Why not just dye the whole thing the same color?'. So I bought some hair dye and dyed all of my hair. So whatcha think? I think I look nore like an Uzumaki." Naruto said as he carried Hinata inside and set her on his couch

"You look like a tomato." Sasuke said

"W-Well.. You look like-" Naruto tried to think of a comeback, thinking Sasuke was teasing him

"I like tomatos." Sasuke said in his ear, in a flirty voice

Naruto's face then turned into he same color of his hair. Sasuke then looked at the clothese Naruto was wearing, he needed a wardrobe change.

"Wake Hinata up, we're going somewhere." Sasuke said

"Huh? Why?" Naruto asked

"We need to get you new clothes." Sasuke said simply

"Huh?! What's wrong with the clothes I have now?" Naruto gestured his bright orange jumpsuit

Sasuke gave Naruto a 'Are you serious?' look which made Naruto see his point. "Fine. I'll wake Hinata."

Naruto shook Hinata awake then told her they were going shopping, Hinata agreed with Sasuke after Naruto explained why.

They all went to a clothes shop. The cashier gave Naruto a dirty look and was about to kick him out but Hinata and Sasuke activated their respective dojutsu's and glared at the man which made him shut up.

"Take your pick Naruto. Chose what speaks to you." Hinata nudged Naruto to a rack of clothing

Hinata and Sasuke sat down while Naruto was in the dressing room. Naruto stepped out wearing thin black cargo pants with a black qnd orange jacket. Much better compared to his old outfit. (Think about his Shippuden outfit but with black pants instead of orange.)

"Not too bad if I say so myself." Naruto said, liking his new outfit

"It's definitely an improvement over your orange jumpsuit." Sasuke said
