"I can't believe this is working." Choi Seung-Hyun said in disbelief.
Choi Seung-Hyun and Bae Jang Mi currently stood at the entrance of an amusement park. It's been five minutes since arriving but Choi Seung-Hyun wanted to see if Jang Mi was right. Currently, Choi Seung-Hyun and Jang Mi were in disguises. Jang Mi wore a blond wig that was short to her shoulder. The hair looked so real that Choi Seung-Hyun started to get used to her in blond. She wore a black snapback to hold her wig down. Her makeup was done heavier but she also added light freckles on her nose and her cheeks. They too looked real. Her glasses were big and it blocked most of her facial features. Even her clothes were closer to American fashion than Korean fashion. She wore brown timberland work boots and black leggings. She wore a white t-shirt with the word 'American' going across the front. She had a red plaid long sleeve wrapped around her hips. All together, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between a Caucasian and Bae Jang Mi. Until she took off the shades of course.
Choi Seung-Hyun was harder to hide. He was tall and had noticeable facial features. Jang Mi made him wear a light brown wig that was longer than his usual hair. He was very outspoken about how much he hated the wig. His outfit as well was something he hated. Jang Mi had no choice but to make him look older than he looked. She couldn't change his ethnicity as easily as she changed hers. She had to make him look older but she knew he was uncomfortable with showing skin. So she made him wear a long sleeve black shirt with loose jeans. He was also very open about his opinion on his outfit. But now that they stood in public, nobody noticed him nor Jang Mi to be famous people.
"See? Nobody knows who we are." Jang Mi smiled and dragged him in.
Choi Seung-Hyun didn't like being in crowded places. Neither did Bae Jang Mi but she has never been to an amusement park. Her mom would never take her to one and she felt excited by being there. Choi Seung-Hyun watched her as she looked around the amusement park like a child. He didn't need to see past the sunglasses to know her eyes were wide. She dragged Choi Seung-Hyun through the amusement park like a child would drag their father or mother. He was happy just watching her. It was an excitement he never saw before but he couldn't understand why she was so excited.
That went out the window when Jang Mi dragged him to the biggest roller-coaster in the amusement park. He already felt nervous by it. He didn't want to let Jang Mi know he didn't want to do it. That would be a punch to his pride. But the closer he got, the more nervous he got. Jang Mi could feel his nervous energy but knew he wouldn't admit.
"Actually, I don't want to go on the roller-coaster anymore. Do you want to go play some games?"
Choi Seung-Hyun nodded eagerly. He usually didn't mind riding roller-coaster but he just didn't feel like riding it. And the closer he got to it, the more it affected his nerves. However, Jang Mi didn't mind that he didn't want to ride the roller-coaster. But she was impressed how well he played the games that the amusement park had. He had won two stuffed animals and she carried them in both arms. They were medium sized teddy bears and she smiled knowing how fun it was.
"The sun is setting. Where should we go now?" Jang Mi asked.
"I know!"
(The sun rises early in Korea so it's only normal for it to set early too)

The room was dark and quiet. Surprisingly, it was somewhat empty. Choi Seung-Hyun and Bae Jang Mi sat next to each other with huge smiles on their face. The smell of popcorn engulfed them like smoke. Jang Mi enjoyed eating it while Choi Seung-Hyun avoided eating fattening food. Especially popcorn with extra butter.
The movie was almost done and Jang Mi was happy to know how the ending was going to end. Jang Mi was a sucker for happy endings. Even when she is filming, she loves it when both main leads end up together. And her second lead self has to get kicked to the side. She loved it. Choi Seung-Hyun knew it too. He watched her as she sighed in contentment as the film they watched came to an end. The few people who were in there left unsatisfied by the movie. Even Choi Seung-Hyun found the movie a bit boring. The movie had bad ratings to begin with, but Jang Mi wanted to watch it. Now that Choi Seung-Hyun saw her, he knew why she liked watching movies like this. Unlike people who sought out movies for entertainment, she watched it happily and saw the movie for what it truly was. She watched it like pure art. Choi Seung-Hyun had to take her to an art gallery one day. He wanted to know what a girl -one who found bad rated movies good- would think on paintings and furniture.
He couldn't ponder much on the thought as Jang Mi took him by his arm and dragged him out of the theater and into the lobby of the theater. It was crowded and both Jang Mi and Choi Seung-Hyun had forgotten about their disguise that they both wore. Automatically both of them used their hands to cover their face, but soon remembered. They looked at each other for a few seconds before laughing loudly at each other. It was a good laugh that both Choi Seung-Hyun and Jang Mi had. Jang Mi hasn't laughed like that since her brother was in Korea. It made her happy knowing she could laugh without the help of her brother.
Jang Mi's laugh subsided. "I have to go to the bathroom." Jang Mi said before leaving Choi Seung-Hyun by himself.
Jang Mi exited a bathroom stall after finishing her business and washed her hands. She had turned her phone on after exiting the bathroom. She wondered if her manager left a message for her. However, aside from all the hate messages she received from VIPs on Kakao, she received a weird message that wasn't through an app like Kakao or Line. They sent it through her phone.
"Finally found the famous Bae Jang Mi! You can't fool us with your blond wig." Jang Mi read out loud.
"We're waiting for you outside of the theater." She read as another message came.
"We won't hesitate to hurt your rapper boyfriend so hurry up and step out."
At this moment, Jang Mi had ran out into the lobby. Her eyes scanning the crowded room for Choi Seung-Hyun. She sighed in relief when she saw him leaning against a pole playing on his phone. She rushed over to him in a panic. Choi Seung-Hyun instantly noticed her distressed state. She dragged him out of the theater and looked around the streets. She couldn't see a single suspicious person. She dragged Choi Seung-Hyun into an alleyway. Already Choi Seung-Hyun was nervous. He would continue to ask her about the way she was acting. However she never answered. As both of them stood in the alleyway, five big figures walked in covering the exit for both Choi Seung-Hyun and Jang Mi from escaping.
