Jang Mi pulled up to Choi Seung-Hyun's house in her manager's car. She was happy manager Kim had a GPS. She would've been lost trying to reach Choi Seung-Hyun's house from her manager's house. Snow was falling all around her when she got out of the car. She took an umbrella as she did so. The house felt eerie to her and she wasn't sure if she'd be alright confronting Choi Seung-Hyun.
"Choi Seung-Hyun! I know you're in there." Jang Mi shouted into the camera that connected to the doorbell. "Open the door."
Jang Mi waited for him to open the gate but he didnt. The gate only opened when he stepped outside. Jang Mi was glad to see him but she knew something was off. She could tell by a single glance. His knuckles were bleeding, his eyes were bloodshot red and hair waved around in the wind. He wore a snow jacket and sweats. He hadn't once looked in Jang Mi's direction. He didn't want to.
"Choi Seung-Hyun." She started. "What happened to your knuckles?" Jang Mi went to reach for his hand but he pulled back. "Why are you like this?"
"I'm breaking up with you." Choi Seung-Hyun said.
Those words caught Jang Mi off gaurd. She couldn't say what she wanted to say. Just those words and it caused her to stand there in shock. Choi Seung-Hyun wanted to break up with her but she didn't want to break up with him. She felt her heart breaking with each breath she intook. She hadn't noticed Choi Seung-Hyun had went back inside. Ignoring the fact that she was there to tell him something.
"Choi Seung-Hyun! Please don't do this." She shouted into the doorbell. "Please don't do this." She cried.
....
*12 hours later*
Jang Mi walked into her house with a deep sigh. The sun had risen long ago and Jang Mi was exhausted. She was mentally, emotionally and physically exhausted. She had to rest before her set schedule today. She had a photoshoot to do and then a CF. She couldn't ponder too much on Choi Seung-Hyun at the moment. She just knew that Choi Seung-Hyun was safe away from her mother.
Jang Mi stripped out of her clothes that she wore and headed for a warm shower. Her apartment was super cold and she knew she was going to have a hard time sleeping. Jang Mi sat in the warmth of her bathtub and cried. They were small tears that had fallen out but she couldn't do anything about them.
Jang Mi really missed her brother. Especially at times like this. When it came to saving money, her brother was the most frugal person she has ever met. He didn't own a cellphone so it was hard contacting him and vise versa. He didn't like to spend money on such useless things so he didn't. To Jang Mi, her brother is a humble man. He was alright with trivial things. He didn't mind small things. He's never thought about being a professional MMA fighter because he was alright with fighting small leagues. If Jang Mi hadn't convinced him otherwise, he wouldn't be where he was.
Jang Mi pulled over a big long sleeve sweater and pulled up black leggings. It was too cold in her house so she wrapped a blanket around herself while waiting for her water to boil. Jang Mi sighed as she felt depressed with the outcome of the situations of the past few hours. She didn't know where her mom was staying. It made her worried that her mom at least knew where Jang Mi lived.
When the kettle screamed, Jang Mi got up to make herself a warm cup of hot cocoa. Before she could pour the hot water into her cup, there was a knock on her door. Jang Mi did not like it when people knocked on her door. Important people knew the code to get in so if someone knocked on the door, it meant they weren't worthy enough to even know where she lived. Jang Mi knew the possibility of it being her mom were high. She knew it could be her mom so she had to mentally prepare herself.
Jang Mi bravely opened the door. However she was more than happy at seeing who it was at the door. He stood with a red duffle bag and a black backpack on his back. His hair messy but hidden under a black beanie. He wore a black thick jacket and grey sweats. He smiled brightly as he looked at her."Oppa!" Jang Mi squealed as she ran to him for a hug.
"Jang Mi-ah." He sighed as he spun her around in his arms.
Ji Hoon (her brother) had missed his baby sister a lot. When he set her down, he could easily see how miserable she looked. He knew she wouldn't answer any of his questions about why she looked miserable so he decided to let her be until she was ready to tell him. After placing Jang Mi down, she lead her brother into the house while carrying his duffle bag. Jang Mi's face scrunched up as she placed his duffle bag onto the floor.
"Oppa, are these dirty clothes?" She asked.
Ji Hoon smiled sheepishly. "Maybe."
She sighed angrily. "Do they not have washing machines at the place where you were staying?" Jang Mi lifted the bag and threw it out onto the balcony.
"They do but they charge extra for using it. That's an automatic payment that people have to do." He shrugged as he shrugged off his winter jacket.
"You should of washed it in the tub." Jang Mi walked into the kitchen and poured two cups of hot cocoa. "I taught you how to do it."
"Right with the stepping and hanging." Jang Mi sat besides him and handed him his cup. "I need to tell you something." He said taking her cup out of her hand and placed it where his cup sat on the floor.
"You're getting married?" Jang Mi joked as she tried to reach for her cup but was stopped midway.
Ji Hoon flicked Jang Mi's forehead. "I'm being serious." Jang Mi pouted. "My last fight..." he started and it got Jang Mi a bit worried.
"Go on!" She said impatiently.
"I won!" Jang Mi gasped.
"So, you mean..." She said excitedly.
"Yes! We get to finally move out of this place and into our own apartment."
Jang Mi squealed and tackled her brother into a hug. Before Ji Hoon left for his competitions, he made a deal with the company he was signed under that if he won his last fight, all the money he won would go straight to himself. With that, he promised Jang Mi that they would be able to move out of their current apartment. It was a goal of his since he couldn't take care of his younger sister properly.
Jang Mi pulled back. "I have something to tell you too."
"Is this about your rapper boyfriend." He asked teasingly.
Jang Mi flinched at the mention about Choi Seung-Hyun. "No its worst. So the faster we move out, the better."
"What is it then?" He asked.
"Mom is in Korea."
....
The man I'm using as Jang Mi's oppa is Kim Dong Hyun. He's super handsome....and scary but handsomeㅋㅋㅋ
