Chapter 52 - Choi Seung-Hyun

Ji Yong had finished getting dressed and was sitting on the couch next to Choi Seung Hyun. They were the only two who were finished getting dressed as the other three were still being put together by the hair stylist, the makeup artist and their stylist. Ji Yong set his mic aside and looked over to Choi Seung-Hyun to see him playing on his phone. He was still posting pictures of the concert on Instagram. Ikon had just finished their performance and Ji Yong saw the stage go dark.

"Hyung, you have to watch their performance." Ji Yong said.

"I already seen them perform. Bom noona isn't going to be there either. It's going to look weird with just the three of them." Choi Seung-Hyun replied not taking his eyes off of his phone.

"Hyung!" Ji Yong complained. "You'll get to see why I've been hanging out with Jang Mi for these past few months." Ji Yong smirked.

Choi Seung-Hyun turned and eyed Ji Yong up and down. "Fine." He said after seeing Ji Yong's smirk.

Choi Seung-Hyun eyed Ji Yong as he grabbed the remote and turned the volume for the screen television up. Ji Yong made room for Young Bae as he sat next to them. They guessed he finished getting ready and overheard them speaking about why Ji Yong hanging out with Jang Mi. On many occasions did it also mean Min Hyo Rin was involved. She hadn't said one word about it to him and they even argued over it. Yet, she never spilt the beans.
The beginning of Come Back Home played and Choi Seung-Hyun watched bored out of his mind as the crowd cheered waving their pink light sticks in the air. Choi Seung-Hyun watched as they did the same old dance and singing that he's seen a million time. However, he was confused when he saw the back of the stage lights shut off during Dara's part. Ji Yong couldn't stop moving with excitement and anticipation in both Jang Mi's performance and Choi Seung-Hyun's reaction. Choi Seung-Hyun did find their performance a bit off. They were staged weirdly. Suddenly during Park Bom's part, Choi Seung-Hyun noticed CL, Minzy, and Dara parting ways down the middle like they usually did when Park Bom did her part. He thought that Park Bom was actually able to make it however, he choked seeing Jang Mi appear with a mic held closely to her lips as she sang.

"Come back ho~me! Can you come back ho~me?" Choi Seung-Hyun heard her smooth and beautiful voice leak through the speakers of the television and into his soul. (A/N:That's dramatic)

Choi Seung-Hyun suddenly stood to his feet. "But...she said...she said...she couldn't do that anymore." He stuttered.

"She found out a few months back that she could sing again. She asked me to make her a singer again. That's why I've been really busy. Jang Mi is the thing I kept leaving you guys for. She's the reason why I couldn't hang out and this is the reason she was hugging me." Ji Yong smiled. "She wanted to make you proud. So she hid it from you."

Choi Seung-Hyun felt the sting behind his eyes. He was touched by what she did. All this time he thought she started to like Ji Yong. He even started to slowly hate him because of her. He felt his heart swell more for her as he watched her dancing to Come Back Home. He was mesmerized by her moving body and her absolutely flawless voice. He couldn't believe she could sing like that. Her voice was so smooth yet rough. He loved the sound to her voice. He loved the way her eyes lit up brightly as she danced across the stage with the other members. When the song ended the members and Jang Mi hugged each other on stage. The members of 2ne1 looked proud of her as she smiled brightly.

"Hello everyone I'm the enthusiastic Sandara." Choi Seung-Hyun watched as Dara waved to the screaming crowd.

"I'm 2ne1's maknae, Minzy!" Minzy shouted.

"And I'm CL and we're..."

"2ne1." The three said together.

"Hello, I'm Bae Jang Mi." Jang Mi said into the mic making Choi Seung-Hyun's heart throb in admiration.
