Jang Mi sighed. "I think you're right." She started. "We should break up."
Choi Seung-Hyun's jaw dropped at Jang Mi's seriousness. "Was it because what I said earlier? That we should break up? I didn't mean that. I mean I did mean it at the time. But I didn't know you were just lying to your mom. I never intended..."
Jang Mi cut him off midway. "Choi Seung-Hyun." She said grabbing onto his hand. "It's not because of what you said earlier. I don't want to break up with you. I just think I need to keep you safely away from my mom. My mom will come to you and hurt you just to get back at me. I can't let that happen. She's not in a good mental state at the moment. It's why I want you to act like you hate me." Jang Mi sighed. "It's not because I don't want to be with you. Just the opposite, actually." Jang Mi kneeled in front of him so she could see eye to eye with him. She cupped his cheeks and rubbed the lite stubble that graced his chin and jaw. "I never want you to be hurt because of me. I have to keep you safe away from my mom. She's able to get thugs involved and from what I've seen, you can't really defend yourself."
Choi Seung-Hyun scoffed. "My heart is already breaking from our break up so I can't really take your insults."
Jang Mi laughed. "I'm sorry." She gave him a quick peck on the lips.
The quick peck, quickly and easily, turned into a full fledged make out session. Jang Mi was now on Choi Seung-Hyun's lap, straddling him. Just like all the times they had kissed, it felt like the first time. Jang Mi felt butterflies fluttering around her stomache. Although Choi Seung-Hyun had changed out of his earlier clothes and was watered down on by rain water, Jang Mi could still smell his strong scent and it made her get more into the kiss. She could feel the warmth radiating off of his body. He was warming her cold body up without so much effort. Jang Mi was getting too into the kiss. She ran a hand through Choi Seung-Hyun's damp hair and pulled lightly on them every now and then. The other hand had somehow found it's way under his shirt, tracing her nails over his chest.
Choi Seung-Hyun shivered as she did so and slightly pushed her away. "I don't think we're breaking up correctly." He said causing Jang Mi to laugh.
After their hot make out session, they went to Choi Seung-Hyun's bedroom. (Don't think any nasty thoughts guys!) They both stayed on the bed and talked for hours. They talked a lot about nothing in particular. Now that Jang Mi had told Choi Seung-Hyun about her past, she felt free. She felt like she could openly talk to him. When ever she talked, Choi Seung-Hyun would just stare at her. The way her eyes lit up when she talked about her passions and dreams. He liked looking at her in her own natural state. He was taking small notes in his head about her. Like when ever she talked, her dimple would show depending on the way she said a word. Like how she would stop in the middle of her sentence just to smile or how she talked with her hands. He found those small things about her cute. When the conversation went silent, he still continued to watch her. Taking any new information about her to store into his brain. Jang Mi turned to look at him and they stared into each other's eyes. Choi Seung-Hyun took note of how her hair easily fell over her face. He moved it out of her face and just continued to stare at her. It wasn't long before he fell asleep just watching her.
Jang Mi watched him sleep for a couple of minutes. She enjoyed the soft snores that rumbled through his chest as he slept. Jang Mi could lay by his side just stroking the soft skin of his face and the lite layer of hair that graced his jawline. She ran her hand through the side of his hair and watched as he slightly groaned. Jang Mi quietly chuckled before finally making the decision to leave. If she didn't leave now she was never going to leave and breaking up with him would be hard. She got off the bed and leaned over his bed to place a small kiss on Choi Seung-Hyun's forehead.
"I love you." She whispered before finally leaving his room.
...
Choi Seung-Hyun sat up in his bed rubbing the sleep out of his eyes. He stretched his arms out with his eyes still closed. Feeling all his limbs pop as he did so. Choi Seung-Hyun was free for the next couple of days. He was going to be spending his time cleaning up after the mess he had left from his mental breakdown. He got up off the bed and walked straight to the bathroom to continue his usual morning routine.
After finishing his business, he walked out ready to clean up his mess he made but he found everything back in its place. The floor was now clean of any glass, the couch was fixed back in its place. The place was spotless. However, Choi Seung-Hyun took in the fact that, sticky notes were posted all around. Walking to the couch he took one off and read it. Flip this couch over again and I'm gonna come looking after you! Choi Seung-Hyun raised an eyebrow and moved to the ones on the table. Break anything on this table and you'll never see daylight! He walked into the kitchen and saw that it too was spotless. Almost like he never broke anything in there. He picked up the sticky note and read it. You broke six plates and two cups! What did the dishes do to you? Choi Seung-Hyun smiled. The last post it note was on the closet for shoes where sat a hole from when he had punched it. I'm sorry I couldn't fix this but when you want to punch someone, come to me. I'll glove you up and you can hit me as much as you want. Just don't hurt your precious furniture anymore or your precious knuckles. Choi Seung-Hyun smiled brightly.
Bae Jang Mi is someone who not only cared for him but also for the things he cared about. She was willing to let him hit her so he wouldn't take his anger out on his furniture because he loves his furniture. Jang Mi cleaned everything and even threatened him. She made sure that Choi Seung-Hyun would know that she would come after him if he ever hurt his furniture again. It made the breakup with her even harder. Choi Seung-Hyun wanted to go to Jang Mi's house but decided on going the next day. He didn't want to make her feel weird just after their weird breakup. In fact everything between Choi Seung-Hyun and Bae Jang Mi were not normal. From the way they started their relationship to the way they had ended it. He couldn't understand how confusing their relationship was.
"It's because Jang Mi is special and one of a kind." He told himself as he sat on his couch.
