I walk arm and arm with my best friend Kate. we were walking to a club in downtown Australia.
"you know this is fun for me to?" she says "and what do you mean?" I laugh "you living this life and me getting to travel the world with you" "it is fun isn't it?" "yea were literally in Australia going to a bar before you race In two days and no one even knows who you are" she says gesturing around. I laugh at her "it's like your hanna Montana. the best of best worlds" she says "you're stupid" "I mean im being honest. your Gorgeous, you have an amazing personality and to top it all off you can beat a guys ass in a race but no one knows who you are until your name" which is very true.
ive been into formula one racing since I was little my dad raised me as a single dad and I was always at his races cheering him on. seeing him do it I finally got into it now I race but no one knows my face just my name because my dad. my dad passed away 4 years ago in a race actually which had made me push harder having him at races would be better but I have my best friend who travels with me. she loves it going to different places like me and being there for me.
as we reach the entrance to the club I go in first with Kate close behind me. im not a fan of drinking or going out but Kate always makes me she says we cant waist our time in hotel rooms so I always tag along and see always ends up with a guy at the end of the night leaving me alone.
Kate finds the bar immediately and orders a drink. I join her and she orders me a drink "Kate-" "listen up a little y/n" she says as the bartender hands us our drink "thanks babes" she winks at him and she sips in. Kate had a dark red tight dress on with black heels. and she picked out an orange tight dress for me with white heels.

it had been a little bit and we were dancing in the middle of the room with each other when Kate started dancing on a guy. I took that as my cue to walk back to the bar. I sat down and started messing with my heels that were hurting my feet.
"um let me get..." the guy order a drink "everything alright?" he ask
I look up to see a guy with curly hair. none other than lando norris. "yea yea im all good" I smile. the guy hands him his drink "you having a good night?" "yea this isn't really my thing though" "mine either im here with some friends" he says and looks in the direction. I look and see a bunch of well known drivers and of course Kate has made her way in with them "im here with my best friend she actually the girl in the red dress with your friends" I laugh. he smiles "and you aren't joining her?" "um I had to step away my feet are killing me" "aww im sorry to hear that gorgeous. you look good tonight by the way if you want to come join us your more than welcome to" he says and starts walking away " I uh I might" I say. "oh and that color looks great on you" he winks at me before disappearing into the crowd. I smile to myself and feel my face heat up. I turn around and look at the lady bartender that stood in front of me . "if I was you id walk over there" she says making drinks. we laugh as I sip my drink in front of me.
I felt someone beside me leaning on me I looked and it was Kate. "y/n those guys over there are all super nice and cute" she says. "Kate." "y/n" "those are all drivers"I say we look at them. "the one with the white button up and black pants with curly hair thats lando he already came over here and talked to me. then the one with the blue shirt on with is Charles the taller one beside him is Pierre" I say pointing out each of them thats here to her. "oh so Charles is the cute one" she says I laugh at her a little "come on dont be lame" she says dragging my hand out to where she was with the guys before.

as the night came to an end Kate and I walked out with the guys as we walked down the street
"so are you girl from here just in town for something?" Carlos ask "we're actually here to watch the Grand Prix in 2 days" Kate says looking back at me "oh really?" Charles says I nod agreeing
"where you guys staying?" lando ask. I tell them the hotel "oh so are we" Pierre says "oh what a coincidence" I smile.
we all walk to the hotel and get in the elevator. I press 6 and lando presses 7.
"it was very nice meeting you my names lando by the way is there any chance I could get your number?" he ask handing me his phone I put my number in. Kate and I step out of the elevator
I smile to the guys as we begin to walk "wait whats your name?" Lando ask as the doors are about to shut. I turn around and walk as the doors shut not answering.
we get to your room and I slide the key and open the door. Kate shuts it and locks it. we look at it each other "theres no way that just happened" Kate says as we start talking about everything that just happened as we get undressed for bed.
I lay down in the bed when my phone dings
?- hey its lando
"he just texted you didnt he" Kate says as he gets in her bed I nod and smile
m-hey
I texted back then put my phone down and turned off the lights I layed there
"you know im proud of you for not bringing a random guy back" I say to Kate. "and you know what?" she laugh "what?" "im proud of you for actually talking to a guy and giving him your number and having good time for once you grandma" she laughs "hush" I laugh.
I get comfortable and finally fall asleep.
