Is It Still You?

Everything okay?

I didn't think that this moment would happen again but it honestly feels good.
After some seconds we stop and look each other in the eyes.
"So, what do you think now?" He asks.
"I don't know...I feel like the kiss didn't help. I'm even more confused now." I sigh.
Matt: "But why? Was something wrong? Did I do something? Wasn't it good?"
"No it's not that...I think the feelings are coming back." I say slowly.
His eyes widen and a huge smile crosses his face, before I could even say something he kisses me again.
This time the kiss is more intense and longer, I think we never kissed that long before but I feel comfortable with it. Our kiss slowly turns into a make out but as soon as I think of Chris, I stop.
"Chris..." he says and slightly smiles.
I look at him confused without saying anything.
Matt: "It's because of Chris."
Lea: "I feel bad, I think this wasn't right. I chose your brother and I don't want to do that to him."
Matt: "But you said the feelings are coming back which means there is a chance that your decision could change."
"Yeah but now I'm worried again. I thought if I choose someone all of the arguing and fighting stuff would end but it doesn't. Everything feels the same again because I am at the same point that I was a few days ago before I made the decision to choose Chris." I sigh and slowly start to tear up.
"You can always change your decision." He says and rubs my back.
"Without hurting someone? I don't think so." I say shaking my head.
Matt: "You don't have to tell him. Your feelings for me have nothing to do with him."
Lea: "Matt, of course they do. I don't want to hide something from him. He deserves to know it."
Matt: "I get what you mean but he doesn't need to know everything. He didn't even told me about you and him. I had to find it out by myself."
"You had to?" I ask confused and wipe my tears away.
Matt: "Did Chris ever tell you how it all started?"
Lea: "No, we never really talked about it. What happened?"
Matt: "You remember our birthday Party?"
"Yes, the first day we all met again." I answer.
"Exactly. You know what happened at the party with Tobias and Chris..." he says.
I nod and wait for him to continue.
Matt: "I dragged Chris out to the balcony because I wanted to keep him safe and talk to him about the situation. He didn't wanted to talk at first but after some time he was okay to talk. I asked him what the reason behind this fight was and his answer was that he loves you. It was the first time that we talked about these things and it scared the shit out of me because I realized I will never have a chance with you but know I think I have one and I don't want to ruin it."
Lea: "I didn't know how hard it was for you. I'm so sorry."
Matt: "No it's not your fault. I don't have to overreact all the time and have to accept the fact that there is someone else too...more precisely two, if we're being honest."
"Yeah I mean it's..." I want to continue but I get interrupted by my phone ringing.
I take it out of my pocket and look at the screen. It's Nick.
"Wait a second, Nick is calling me." I say and pick up.
Lea: "Hello?"
Nick: "Hi. Did you find Matt? Please say yes."
Lea: "I did find him. He's with me."
"Thank god. I'm happy to hear that." He says relieved. "Can you give him the phone? I want to talk to him real quick." He asks.
"Of course." I answer and hand Matt the phone.
"Hello?" He says.
"Matt are you fucking crazy?! I hear Nick yelling through the phone. "Do you know how worried I was?! I don't hear from you for hours! Are you fucking for real?! You could have told us where you at but no, Matty B has to leave without saying a word. What if something had happened?!" He yells.
Matt looks at me and rolls his eyes.
"I'm fine, mom. You can stop overreacting now. I'm at Lea's house, we are sitting on the roof and talk with each other. Anything else you want to know? Or am I grounded for a week?" Matt says jokingly and starts to laugh.
Nick: "If your talking like that you're grounded for two weeks."
"Okayyy...byee Mom." Matt says and gives me the phone back.
"Everything good now?" I ask laughing.
"Yeahh...I actually didn't know how good time was without Matt's stupid jokes. Thanks for reminding me." Nick says laughing.
"Any time." I laugh too.
Nick: "When are you guys coming back?"
"We are coming soon. You guys can order something from McDonald's if you all want to." I say.
"Sounds good. Chris is already jumping around like a fucking monkey. Lea, please come home and get your kid!" Nick says whining.
"Oh god, you can have him for a little longer." I say laughing.
Nick: "Lea don't you dare to do this to me. You can't fucking leave me with this kid. He's getting on my nerves. I can't do this any longer."
"Sorry Nick, I have to go now." I say.
"No Lea please don't leave meeee." He yells.
"Byeeee." I say and hung up.
"Nick is such a big baby." I laugh and put my phone in my pocket.
"Thank you. I thought I am the only one thinking that." Matt says and laughs too.
"I think it's time for us to go home. Are you ready to go back?" I ask.
Matt: "I am ready even though I'm a little bit scared of Chris. I don't want to argue all the time but one of us always has to overreact and start a fight."
Lea: "He feels really bad, Matt. He even started to tear up after you left. I don't think you have to be scared, he will be happy to have you back and if you want to I can talk to him and see if he's fine."
Matt: That would actually help a bit. I don't want to open the door and get killed right away."
I look at him and raise my eyebrows.
"Yeah... I think that would never happen, they are my brothers." He laughs. "You know what? Let's just leave and go home." He says and stands up.
I nod and stand up too. We climb down and walk to our cars.
"I will drive behind you. I want to be sure nothing happens." He says smiling and gets in the car.
I smile too and close my car door.
We both start the car, drive out of the driveway and back to our house.
Soon we arrive and get out of our car. We walk to the front door and I open it.
"We are back!!" I yell while Matt closes the door behind us.
As soon as those words left my mouth we hear loud footsteps running towards us.
"Finally!" Nick says and hugs Matt.
"I'm glad you're okay." Bryan says and hugs him too.
Matt looks at me with big eyes and smiles.
"Hey, everything good?" Tobias says and gives me a hug.
"Yes, everything is good." I smile.
Chris appears behind the corner and looks at Matt without saying anything.
After some seconds they both start to smile and Matt opens his arms.
"I'm happy you're back home. I'm so sorry, I didn't want to hurt you and argue with you. I hope you can forgive me." Chris says while walking towards Matt.
"Of course I forgive you. You're my brother." Matt smiles and they both hug.
"Awww look how cute they can be." Nick says with the brightest smile in his face.
"Shut up Nick." Chris and Matt say in unison.
"And now back to reality again." Nick says and rolls his eyes.
All of us start to laugh even Nick started to laugh too.
Tobias: "Let's go into the living room. Our food should be here any minute."
"You guys really ordered McDonald's?" I ask and look at them.
"If you tell us we should we do it. It's McDonald's, we can't say no to that." Chris says while we walk into the living room and take a seat on the couch.
"Can we go into my room and talk real quick?" Chris whispers in my ear.
"Of course." I whisper back.
"Guys." Chris says waiting for everyone to listen.
"Lea and I will get us some games from my room, so we can do a little game night."
"Sounds fun." Matt says and all of them agree.
Chris and I stand up and walk into his room. Soon we enter his room and he closes the door behind us.
"So what do you wanna talk?" I ask and sit down on the bed.
"It's nothing bad, I just want to know how it went with Matt and what happened." He says and sits down next to me.
I instantly think about earlier on the roof. The conversation, the kiss and everything else.
"Uhmm...it went good." I say nervous.
"Are you sure? Everything okay?" He asks and looks at me.
