(Keely's P.O.V)
The rest of lunch was still all kind of a daze. I was too scared to remember what happened after. I didn't even eat.
When I got to the table one of Jake's friends stood up and growled mine. At first I thought he was talking to the guy next to him but he kept starring at me.
I sat there in the awkward silence avoiding eye contact or any contact at all with the other guy. As hot as he was, he was really starting to scare me.
Under the pressure of the awkward silence I moved closer to Jake causing the guy to growl again.
I tugged on Jakes shirt watching my every move trying not to make the guy mad, but unfortunately with my luck he clenched his fist causing his knuckles to turn white as I tugged on Jakes shirt.
He growled again and stood up. The guy next to him stood up giving him a warning look as Jake pulled me closer to him.
They all seemed to be deep in thought, like they were talking to each other but as I looked around no one was talking. The whole cafeteria fell silent turning their attention to us.
"Keely, why don't we start heading to class?" Jake said breaking me out of my thought.
He stood up grabbing both our stuff and cautiously guiding me out of the cafeteria. I trailed closely behind him holding onto the back of his shirt. We reached the hallway and I let out a breath I didn't realize I was holding.
"D-did I do something w-wrong? Did I u-upset him?" I mumbled to Jake trying to keep from stuttering but failing at it.
"No, you didn't do anything, he is just having a bad day. You don't need to worry about anything."
"Ok... thank you Jake, for being there with me."
"No problem, I will always be there for you, don't worry."
