(Keely's P.O.V)

I look at the time on my phone and saw that school had finished. I can't believe my mom actually believed Jake. I was stuck in my bed all day with nothing to do, and I wasn't even sick.

After Jake and I left school we went down to the park and just hung out. I found out a lot of stuff about him like his favorite color, which is blue, and his favorite sport, soccer. I found out a lot of stuff like that. It was nice hanging out and it made me forget about what happened earlier. We left the park when school finished and we decided that he would tell my parents I was sick if the school called them saying I didn't show up to class.

We got to my house and my mom walked out the door with a dish towel in her hand and a 'explain' look on her face. I looked towards Jake and we nodded. Let the acting commence!

Jake jumped out of the car and came to my side to open the door. I got out and hunched over a little bit. He held my shoulders and walked me towards my mom.

"Oh what happened here?" my mom asked looking concerned at my 'condition'. "Hello Mrs. Simons, I'm Jake a friend of your daughters. She got sick during lunch and was held up in the bathroom. She was too sick to go to class or go to the nurse so I stayed with her until she could stand and travel. I brought her home as soon as I could" said Jake. He really was a good liar. Even I believed him.

"Oh thank you so much Jake. I can take care of her from here but maybe you could come over for dinner sometime?" asked my mother. She must really like Jake. Dinner is a very important meal to her, not just anyone can come. "Oh I would love to, thank you Mrs. Simons" Jake handed me over to my mom and when she turned to go inside I turned around and sent him a wink. He winked back and got into his car and drove away.

My mom put me straight to bed and brought up some soup to me. I felt bad for lying to her but it was such a rush. I'm better at lying than I thought.

I woke up the next day to my alarm going off. I have to go back to school today, my mom wanted me to stay home one more day but I told I was fine.

I completed my regular morning routine. I brushed my teeth, did my hair, washed my face, all that stuff. I went to my closet and pulled out so black skinny jeans, my Green Day t-shirt and a beige sweater. I know what you're thinking, I sound too girly and peppy for a band like Green Day right. Well that's not even the best part, go through my iPod and you will get songs from Green Day to Slipknot, to MGK and Lil Wayne. I'm a very diverse girl what can I say. Only the people I'm really really close to know the real me. I'm emo on the inside, don't judge me.

When I was done getting ready I collected my things and went downstairs. My mom was cooking eggs and toast. Mmh, it smelled wonderful. I grabbed a piece of bread and some eggs and made a sandwich. I said bye to my mom and then started my walked to school.

When I got to school I went straight to my locker to grab my stuff. I was putting the last of my stuff in my bag when someone tapped me on my shoulder. I turned around to find Kai.

"Hey Keely" he said shyly. "Hi Kai" I said back. "I wanted to see if you were okay, you know with the whole lunch incident and I noticed that you weren't at school yesterday." Aww how sweet. "Yeah I'm fine I was just a little sick, but I'm okay now. Thanks for asking" I replied. Kai is just too cute. He is the perfect mix between shy and nerdy and then mysterious and hot. He got flustered easily and didn't talk much but then he has gauges and dark hair that falls slightly over his eyes when it's not styled. It was somewhat messy but in the way that makes you look hot. "Uh yeah no problem, so I was wondering if wanted to sit with me at lunch again. You don't have to I mean after what happened the other day, but I just wanted to let you know that you are always invited" Kai said rubbing the back of his neck. He had a small blush creeping on his cheeks and his eyes darted around to everything but me. "Yeah I would love too, thanks." With that the bell rang and we went our separate ways.
