Just when he thought the chaos was over and he'd be able to get a good night sleep he was wrong. Now with the thought of there being plans to assassinate Tony from a guy that he trusted.. it was bad and Quentin couldn't do anything about it. The sunrise leaked into the office. Beck checked his phone. It was still early in the morning but thankfully work hours soon.
He checked the door. Still locked and his keys were still in the same spot. Well.. he could catch up on work. He signed some papers and typed up some response emails. God this was embarrassing.
Quentin's phone dinged. His whole mood changed when he saw it was Tony responding to last night's texts.
Yeah, why?
I also have some paperwork for you to fill out.
...Quentin responded back. Relived to know that Tony was okay. Grant it he was still locked in a glass cage practically but it was okay.
Tony are you busy?
No, why?
I need your help with my office.
That doesn't really seem important.
Please
Fine. I'll be there at ten.

Quentin spun around in his chair before hearing a knock on the office door. There was Tony, looking annoyed since nothing seemed to be happening. Quentin let out a deep breath before running over.
"What was the big problem?"
"I'm stuck."
"What do you mean you're stuck?"
Quentin pushed and pulled on the doors, even giving them a little shake and Tony was understandably confused. He pulled on the doors from the outside to confirm that they were locked. "...Where's your keys?"
Beck pointed at Stark's feet. There his keys had been all night. Taunting him. Tony didn't question it, yet. He just picked them up and unlocked the door for his friend. "Quentin who locked you in here?"
"Um," He took his keys and put them back in his pocket. Nervous chuckle. "I guess I was pranked by someone." Tony gave him a look like he didn't believe him. Which he didn't but he didn't have time to deal with it right now.
"Well. I guess it was an emergency after all."
"Yeah yeah yeah- Listen, Tones, I have to talk to you like- right now."
"What now?"
"Well.. I've been thinking.. what if one of your staff members is... plotting against you?"
"Quentin that's just your anxiety. My staff love me. Not to mention Stane would tell me if he found anything fishy." Quentin frowned. "Speaking of, I need to talk to him." Tony turned to leave which caused him to panic and grab his arm.
"Do you have to go alone? I mean I can go with you! We could-"
"Quentin let go of my arm." His tone was stern and he slowly loosened his grip allowing Tony to move. "I don't know if this is another jealousy episode or what not but I don't like it. We can hang out later but first I have to talk to him about my idea."
"But Tony-"
"Nope. You need to get over this jealousy issue." Tony looked at him before walking away and muttering. "And the overthinking."
Quentin sighed as he watched Stark leave. Okay so he wouldn't listen to anything he tried to say and Tony was terrible at taking hints. If he couldn't tell him then he'd just have to keep a close eye on him to make sure Stane didn't try anything.
