Quentin waited for Peter to leave the rooftop. The sooner they separated the faster he and his crew could set up. All these meetings and discussion over utter bullshit was so tiring. The next threat was the Fire Elemental that would be attacking at the Prague Carnival. Before the performance can begin however.. he has to make sure it was ready.

The soldier walked all the way back to the warehouse. The setting was beautiful all lit up at night like this. They had an hour before battle so Beck had no time to waste. He hummed as he walked. He had an idea in mind so hopefully putting it into action would be a piece of cake.

"What setting are you thinking?" Doug asked.

"Uh," Quentin stuttered while looking around. They had to disguise this place as a normal building rather than a rundown abandoned place. "A bar?"

"A bar??" One of his crewmates repeated.

"Isn't the kid like- fourteen?" Shanice jumped in.

"Something like that." Quentin confirmed while repositioning a chair. "We have a lot of work to do so let's get to it."

The six looked at each other before following the plan. William pushed some furniture to form a table with some chairs. Janice threw some outfits together to make it look like uniforms. Gutterman was busy writing some of the conversations that would be going on in the background. Victoria was helping Quentin decorate.

"Did anybody scan the locals like I asked?" Mysterio asked while setting some empty bottles on a rack.

"Sure did." William answered. "Would you like me to show you what it looks like?"

"Wait-" Doug cut in. "Where do we go while you and Peter are chatting up here?"

"...Uh," Quentin looked around. William was setting the drones up and that's when the man noticed something. "Whoever isn't being an employee can stand behind the drones. As long as you're not too loud it should work."

His friends agreed as they worked. Shanice threw some blankets over the tables to act as table cloths to help disguise how dirty and unfitting they were. Gutterman was setting up stools to make the bar top area at the front.

Quentin hummed as he admired everyone's work. He sat in the seat he would be sitting at before getting an idea. "Hey decoration department.."

A female worker turned to him. "Yeah?"

"Can you put some medals here? Maybe an arrow pointing to me as well? Subliminal messages are quite strong and if this is going to go well I need Peter to see them associated with me."

"That's... actually really smart. I'll be sure to do that."

"Oh! Gutterman!" Quentin yelled.

"Yes boss?"

"Make sure you have other drink options. Water, wine, lemonade. Stuff like that. Make sure there's a bunch as well."

"You got it Beck!"

Quentin watched as the lair became more and more like a bar. He glanced up at the clock and oh shit. "Janice I need your help."

"With what?" She asked.

Beck walked back down to the work area to grab his suit. Janice followed behind him and soon understood. "Ah, alright arms out." He nodded and did as he was asked as she began to suit him up piece by piece. "So, fire element this time, right?"

"Yup." Quentin confirmed. "Does everyone know what to do?"

"We rehearsed it only a thousand times." She joked. "Trust us Mysterio, everybody knows exactly what to do." She clipped his cape to the badges and confirmed her work. "You're all set."

"Thanks Jan." Quentin made his way back upstairs and wished his crew off.

From what he saw it looked as if he had walked right into a bar. The illusions of fake people and everything was just like he planned. He felt confident walking out to go meet Fury and them at the parade. Hopefully he could convince Peter enough to bring him back here and then..

Success.

Getting Edith was easy. Too easy. Quentin was for sure that Peter was pulling a fast one on him but he wasn't. He just really was that stupid. He liked Peter. He really did. It almost reminded him of when he was younger. Awkward, gullible, fragile.

But when Tony was brought up again and Quentin could see it in the kid's face of how much Tony meant to him and then have the audacity of saying Stark would of really liked him as if he didn't meet him first? There was anger. Frustration and a pitch of sadness as the reminder of when shit hit the fan still lingered.

He met Tony first. He was Tony's favorite person before Peter. Spider-Man was his replacement. How dare he. But, he took an internal breather as he had an even bigger task to do.

After giving a toast it was indeed time to get to work. He had lied on how many elementals he stopped. It was time for the finale. The most dangerous one of them all. It had to be if he was going to live up to that Avenger legacy. He had to save the world from something humongous

"Hey Gutterman what kind of lines should I yell with this one?" Quentin asked while sliding his mo-cap gloves on. "I'm thinking something really emotional as this would be the final one."

"Well considering Quentin, you, is a soldier who lost his family maybe something to do with that?" He responded.

Quentin thought about it for a little bit before giving his best acting. "This is for my family!!" He yelled. "You took everything from me!!!" He made sure to sound as angry but as equally hurt as possible before turning to the man. "How's that?"

"It was good. I'd say to stick to the first one."

Quentin nodded before placing the helmet on his head. "Everything look okay Janice?"

"Yup you look good. I just finished the suit's cape as well."

"Excellent." He turned to the stage area next. "William how's everything going?"

"Good boss. E.D.I.T..H. is connected to our database and the upload is currently.. well, uploading. Are you ready?"

Quentin looked around. Everyone was at their positions as he was on the floor. They had the basics down. Giant wind monster terrorizing the city. They had the perfect location planned also. Unlike with the water elemental, Beck would be able to see his own show from the bridge. Make sure everything goes smoothly.

"Alright people," Quentin paused before turning around and turning his mic on to record his lines. "Let's roll it from the top."
