"Quentin you're needed in meeting room five. I repeat, Quentin you're needed in meeting room five." The little buzzer on his desk went. Although he hadn't been doing anything important he was comfortable. The young man got up from his desk and walked down the hall and up the stairs. He could of taken the elevator but since he was just sitting around he figured the walking would be better. He slid his keycard into some of the doors before entering.

"You rang?" He joked with the assistant.

"Very funny. Carlos is here with Sarah today. Know what that means?"

"I'm on it."

"Very good."

Sarah was a young girl who Quentin had to watch from time to time while her father was in a meeting. She had pretty Blue eyes and loved to wear Purple. After all the chaos that went down last year they hadn't seen each other for a little bit but she really enjoyed Quentin's time. She kind of saw him as a therapist but also a somewhat father figure that she could talk to. Beck liked to have her around, the office got lonely.

"Hey Sarah, ready to go?"

"Uh- in a minute." The eight year old replied. "I'm still packing my stuff."

"How about I help you so that it goes by quicker, alright?"

"Okay!"

Quentin smiled and got down on his knees to help her pack her Stark Industries Daycare bag. It consist of some crayons, coloring books and colorful paper, a few Barbies and some books to read. Once everything was somewhat neatly packed he stood back up to his feet and watched as the little girl slipped her bag on without closing it. He'd make sure to stay close behind in case anything were to slip out. He pat her on the back before gesturing to the door.

"Ready to go?"

"Yup!"

"Mr. Beck," They both turned to look at her father who held up two fingers which Quentin responded with a thumbs up. He had to watch her for two hours which was usually the norm for this family. He held the door open for her and they began their walk back to his office. She skipped playfully and he walked normally.

"So how have you been Sarah?"

"Uh- okay I guess."

"Not too great from what it sounds like." Quentin responded while leaning to the side to catch a doll that had tried to escape her bag. "How's school?"

"Bleh."

He chuckled. "Yeah, it can be pretty yucky." He was messing with the doll's hair trying to comb the tangles out with his fingers.

"Can you tell me another story?"

"I can try, about what?"

"You and my daddy's boss?"

Sarah loved to hear about Quentin's childhood because of how different their growing up eras were. "Well," He paused, trying to think of a good memory to tell. "There was this one time we went to the zoo."

"Like the animal place?"

"Mhm," He confirmed before pushing the call elevator button. He wasn't gonna have Sarah walk down all those flights of stairs like him.

"What did you guys do there?"

"A lot of things. We looked at the animals, fed the giraffes," He tried to retrace his memories of that day, it had been so long ago that he was sure he'd leave out a few details. Although one of the best moments popped into his head causing him to giggle a little.

"What?"

"Tony got sprayed by an Elephant while we were walking."

"Really?!"

"Yeah, it was pretty funny." Sarah laughed which made Quentin laugh a bit louder.

The two had reached his office and Quentin had finished wrapping up the memory. He held the glass door open for her as she skipped inside and he followed behind, making sure  everything was all good before letting it close. Sarah had already helped herself to sitting on one of the couches and dumping everything out onto the floor. She always cleaned up after herself so he didn't mind.

"Do you wanna color with me Mr. Beck?"

"I'd love to." Quentin opened the mini fridge in the corner of the room and grabbed a water and a juice box from the box that he kept in there for moments like this. He walked over and handed it to her before laying on his stomach. She looked over at him and smiled, showing him the different options she had.

"Which page would you like?" She asked while flipping through the Pets one and yeah, Quentin was pretty basic.

"I'll color the dog one if that's okay."

"Ooh okay! I'll do the parrot!" She froze before looking at him and handing him the book. "Can you rip the pages out please?" He chuckled and gently took the coloring book from her hands and set it down on the hard floor, using his fist as a stopper as he slowly and carefully separated the pages from the book.

"Thank you!!"

"You're welcome, do you also need help with your straw?"

"Nah, I can do it." She proved herself by using her teeth to rip the plastic and she struggled a little with the straw but eventually got it. "See!"

"Wow, good job!"

"Thanks!" Sarah dumped all the crayons out of the box and moved them into a giant mess of a pile. "We'll have to share."

"That's okay." Quentin smiled before grabbing the brown crayon and pressing a little hard to give the outline of the image a darker look. The kid grabbed red and tried to color in the lines as neatly as she could.

She told her babysitter about how her dad hadn't had a drink in a week or so and how she was doing in school. Her colors splattering all over the page. Quentin well- lied, when he told her how he coped with bullies as he colored neatly in the lines and pressed lightly for the rest of the color. What she didn't know wouldn't hurt her. After they finished coloring their pictures they played with the dolls and so on until it was time for her to go back.
