Classes. Rose went through her classes and prefect rounds and it was honestly so boring. The only thing that was remotely interesting was when they were doing tea leaf readings she got a heart, which meant love was in her future. When she told that to Angelina and Katie they both gave her that look, and she really hoped they were right about George.
Now, it was the day before we went to Hogsmeade. Rose really felt bad for Harry since he couldn't go, but she made sure that Remus would keep him company. She talked to her godfather after her DADA class today and made sure Harry had someone to talk to.
Now, her, George, Fred, and Lee were walking to the Great Hall for dinner and the boys were discussing a new prank they could pull. Rose stayed out of it because she didn't want to intervene because they knew what they were doing and if they needed her she'd wait for them to say so. George took notice of her silence though and asked, "You ok?"
She just smiled up at him and said, "I'm perfectly fine, Georgie. I know you guys always plan ahead and I don't want to ruin those plans."
"You'd never ruin any of our plans, you know that right? We always love when you give us feedback," he said.
"I give feedback after it's fully planned because you guys are better at planning than I am. Plus, Lee is the secret weapon here and I don't want to interfere," Rose said.
"You're very modest. Some of these pranks we couldn't do without you, Rosette," George said.
"Modest is an understatement, and yes me and Lee have been listening to the whole conversation you two are having. Rose, you're overthinking again, we would fail without your holy guidance," Fred said.
"He's not wrong, trust me. I know I'm also not one of the main people in some aspects but what I do is still vital," Lee said.
"Besides, George wouldn't do the pranking if we didn't have such a cutie helping us," Fred said, winking at George and Rose.
"Fred's right, you know," Lee added.
"Shut up," George said, his whole face beat red.
"Aw, flustered aren't we, Georgie?" Fred asked.
"Freddie, don't push him too far if it makes him uncomfortable," Rose said.
"You think that's making him uncomfortable? Oh you don't-"
Lee was cut off by George saying, "Let's just get to the Great Hall."
The rest of the walk there was silent and Rose was hoping to drag behind more and slip away from the boys, but she wasn't having any luck. George would just slow down to match her pace and then Fred and Lee would slow down too.
Finally they made it to the Great Hall and Rose sat with Neville this time because it was their tradition to sit with each other before Hogsmeade trips. "Hey Nev, how were classes today?" Rose asked.
"Hey Rose, they were alright, nothing to fancy. How about yours?" he asked.
"Pretty good, I'm more excited about tomorrow though. I need Butterbeer in my life, and it cannot wait any longer," Rose said.
"I agree full-heartedly, Rose," Seamus said.
"I like to go just to get out of the school and hang out with these two blokes," Dean said.
"What are you going to do tomorrow, Rose?" Seamus asked, "Hang out with George," he said, wiggling his eyebrows.
"Seamus, not you too," Rose whined and put her head in her hands.
