First Person POV - (Y/N)

The Town of Beginning Adventurers - Axel

After yelling a catchphrase to feel more like a anime protagonist, a bright flash blinded me. Instinctively I closed my eyes to avoid any early damage. I mean come on what kind of sick fuck blinds you right as your put in a new world? I could get fucking insta-killed by an enemy I couldn't see due to the light that now is slowly dimming from my eyes. As I regained one of my five senses I just realised where I was put. The area around me had a very medieval theme to it, yet somehow it all seems so tranquil as if there was no danger. Something to ask Aqua about I guess. The sound of running water in a stream near where I was made everything feel so... homely. The were a few people wandering about most likely purchasing something from stalls or just simply enjoying the fresh air. Some of them even had animal traits! Like cat ears! That's just fucking adorable! My musings of the area and it's citizens were cut short by what I could only describe as the cry of a child not getting what it wants. It's most likely Aqua, the last time I saw her she was bawling her eyes out. Which means Kazuma should be there too.

(Y/N): "Well better go find em, otherwise we won't be able to party up together."

And with that said I began to follow the sounds of crying hoping to find my best friend.

And maybe a Goddess too.

A few minutes earlier...

First Person POV - Kazuma

Kazuma: "No way! I'm really in another world!"

I can't believe what I'm seeing. I'm actually in a whole new world! I wasn't just dreaming. This is great, a brand new lease on life. I really want to explore but I should wait for (Y/N). After a carriage pulled along by a horse moved out of my view I started looking around. It was peaceful and calm, I didn't expect this from a world being invaded by a Devil King but we were sent here for a reason. There was a little girl chasing a dog, some people just walking by and a few stalls offering goods further down the road were on. Some kids were chasing each other with a stick in hand, over all it seemed like a nice place to live.

Kazuma: "I can't believe it! So does that mean I get to learn magic and stuff?!"

I wasn't excited. I was ecstatic! I saw a party just talking to each other most likely planning to go on their next quest. Man I can't wait to go on epic quests with (Y/N) and who ever else joins us. My face lit up in pure happiness.

Kazuma: "I get to be a Hero?!"

Aqua: *Low sobbing*

Kazuma: "Goodbye to my miserable hermits life. Hello to my new one! This fantasy world is gonna break me out of my shell."

My resolve was high and my spirits up, what could possibly ruin this moment?

Aqua: *Mildly loud crying*
