Superhero?

VEDIKA'S POV

" So what were you doing with those kids ?.." Bhai asked coldly.

" I-I d-didnt d-do a-anything , they j-just c-came a-and started i-introducing t-themselves. " I tried to explain.

" Oh really !...I don't think that Dwivedi kid or his friends must have found anything interesting in you . I am warning you , don't let your filthy shadow fall upon those kids or else you will face something really bad! " He spat and I nodded timidly.

But those kids were the one who were desperate to talk to me !...I didn't wanted to talk to them because from their faces they seemed to be trouble makers.

----Time skip-----

I just took some Diwali sweets which Dwivedi aunty gave to everyone and came outside the mansion as I was feeling suffocated inside.

To my utter dismay , I saw that same group of three boys and two girls sitting near the fountain and eating their sweets. Before they could see me , I quickly ran from there and sat on the bench a bit far away from those people . I hope that they don't see me or else I will be in trouble.

ABHAY'S POV

" Look !.." I pointed at the same girl running away , when she saw us.

" She is Vedika , right ?.." Shraddha asked and everyone hummed.

" Why she is trying to run away from us ?.." I asked suspiciously.

" Bro !...Kabhi apni shakal dekhi hai ?...Koi bhi dekh kar dar jayega !.." Vinay joked and I glared at him.

" And she will literally faint when she will see your inbuilt golden earrings and armour ..." Samarth added. I rolled my eyes. But I love my earring and armour very much , it makes me feel like I am some superhero sent on Earth by God , to help humans .

" Oh please, She will worship me if she will see these golden earrings and armour !....You are the only ones whom I showed you my secret and who don't even care about it !..." I said through gritted teeth.

" ShE wIlL wOrShIp Me !.." Anshika mimicked my voice in funny way and my so called friends started laughing.

I ignored them and averted my gaze at Vedika , sitting far away on a bench and looking at the sky. I stuffed a laddoo in my mouth while looking at her.

Though this girl ignored me and ran away , my heart is really big and I have to save her from getting killed .

I was just staring at her without blinking my eyes.

Though this girl doesn't seem to have any speciality or any extraordinary thing in her but I don't know why am I feeling a weird kind of attraction towards her.
She is not even very beautiful like Shraddha and Anshika, but still I can't take my eyes off her.

Who she really is ?....And why am I feeling connected to her , in some way ?...

As I was.staring at her , she suddenly snapped her head in my direction and our eyes met and I immediately averted my eyes towards the fountain as I was caught red handed while staring at her.

" Bro !...Have you caught fever ?...Just look at you , you have gone totally red !."Shraddha asked while touching my forehead to check if I have a fever.

" I-I don't have fever , Shraddha!.." I said while shoving her hand off. I glanced at my friends who were looking worriedly at me.
I never realised that though these idiots insult me a lot but still care about me more than anyone and I am lucky to get such friends.

" I am okay guys !...I guess my face was looking red due to the light of diyas and nothing else . Don't worry about me.." I said with a smile. They nodded in understanding.

I cautiously turned my gaze again at the spot where Vedika was sitting, ... But my breath hitched when I saw she wasn't there anymore.

" Guys !...I remembered some important work to do , I will come back in few minutes!.." I said and before they could say anything, I ran away from there .

" Where are you ?.." I mumbled to myself while looking for the blue eyed girl.

VEDIKA'S POV

I don't know why that Abhay guy was staring at me , but I am literally getting scared of him because I am feeling weird attraction towards him and also in that dream there was one Abhay .

I just dashed from there inside the mansion again ,...but from the area I entered, the mansion was deserted but there were so many beautiful chandeliers . And I started looking at it in awe.

But I don't why am I feeling like something is keeping an eye on me.

ABHAY'S POV

There she is !...

And as per my expectation, the murderers are standing behind the wall to kill Vedika.

But my senses got activated as soon as I saw the chandelier below which Vedika was standing was slowly coming down .

I immediately covered my face with a scarf and dashed towards her .

VEDIKA'S POV

I suddenly felt a jerk , causing me and the person who crashed into me , fall a few feet away .

I closed my eyes shut to wait for my skull to break due to impact of banging on the ground , but it didn't happened . But my insides shivered when I heard something big ,breaking loudly.

" Hey , you are safe....." I heard a which seemed both familiar as well as unfamiliar.

I slowly opened my eyes to see , myself lying on the floor and a guy with his face hidden by scarf hovering over me .

" W-What..W-Who...H-How..?.." I don't even know , what shit I was speaking.

" You are safe,...just take a deep breath ..look , you are shivering from head to toe. " He said softly while standing up and pulling me up by my hand . I took multiple deep breaths.

" Look, I know you don't have anyone who could make you feel better .... Just a advice , stay strong ...okay ?" He asked while keeping his hands on my shoulders. I nodded vigorously.

" Good ,....I will have to go now , but stay safe. Bye !.." He waved and ran away , leaving me watching his disappearing silhouette.

This mysterious guy saved me from getting killed by a chandelier !!!....

But who he was ??....Any superhero ?..
