Agni is Broken

𝐀𝐠𝐧𝐢'𝐬 𝐏𝐎𝐕

" Agni !...Where are you going ?..." Maa asked.

" I have to go to Varnavrat Maa , I am getting an extremely wrong is going to happen there....Karn , Pandavas and Kunti Kaki are there only..." I explained hurriedly. I thought Maa will not let me go but instead she told me to go and check.

" But take someone with you....Pratyush is busy with some work right now-"

" Shivraj is coming with me Maa , dont worry.." I said .

" Okay fine then...come back safely...okay ?.." I nodded.

----Time skip----

" Shiv , you know where is Varnavrat righht ?..." I asked.

" Yes I know , but I dont understand why we are going there !.."

" Because my friends are there and I am getting intuition that something is going to happen with them...
I cant sleep with this anxiety !.." I replied. Its night time right now and according to Shivraj , we will reach there by tomorrow night if we ride continuously.

I called Arjun while riding the horse. He also have mobile , gifted to him by his best friend Madhav.

" Hello "

" Hey Agni , whatssup dude !....Bhrata Karn se baat karni hai ?....Wait he is here only , I will give-"

" No , no Arjun...Mujhe Bhrata Yudi se baat karni hai, can you please give him.."

" Oh okay ..just a minute.." He said and I could feel from here , Karn getting jealous.

" Hey"

" Oh Pranipaat Bhrata Yudi"

" Umm...Can you please please talk from the place where no one is there...or else shove your brothers away...
Cause I want to talk only to you.." I requested and I heard him requesting his brothers to get out.

After a while..

" Hmm..what's the matter ?" I heard Yudi's voice.

" Bhai , aap jis mahal me reh rahe ho waha aapko kuch ajeeb laga ?.." I asked.

He took a while..
" Umm..yeah, here lighting mashals and all is not allowed , even the kitchen is not in the palace.." He said and now I was damn sure that something is wrong.

" Listen Bhratashri , something is extremely wrong in that palace...please investigate...I am coming there cause I was getting really anxious feeling.." I said .

" Okay , I will do...dont worry and come safely ...dont get into trouble-"

" Thik hai bhai, aap kuch jyada he chinta kar rahe ho.." I said .

" Anyways , Bye...." And I hanged up the call.

" Shivraj , we have to go fast !!.." I exclaimed.

𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐫'𝐬 𝐏𝐎𝐕

Arjun , Yudi , Karn , Nakul and Sahedev came running in the dining hall.

Arjun pushed away the bowl of kheer which Bhim was about to drink causing the drink to splatter on floor.

" What are you doing Arjun !!..." Kunti yelled.

" That kheer contains poison Maa !...my mouse died because of that !..." Nakul explained. Bhim and Kunti's eyes widened in horror.

" Not only that Maa , this palace is made up of wax ! .... ek aag ki chingari pura mahal jala degi !!..." Yudhistir said and Kunti's jaw dropped in disbelief.

" Maa , we have to get out of this palace asap !..or else we all will get burnt !.." Karn said and others agreed except Kunti.

" No we will not go anywhere !..." She said and her sons looked at her as if she lost her mind.

" Maa , we have to get out of here !...I know all this is Bhrata Duryodhan and Shakuni Mama's deed !....We have to be alive to take our revenge from them !.." Arjun said.

" No putra !...we have had enough !...they are trying to burn my sons in this fire then let what they want happen !...
Hastinapur waapis jaane se aacha ham yaha jal jaaye.." Kunti said with teary eyes . Her sons looked at each other and then went near her and engulfed her in a group hug.

" You are right Maa ,..but we cant die. If we die here today then Duryodhan and mamashri will get successful in their evil plans. We have to remain alive atleast for people of Hastinapur...
We will spend our rest of lives in forest and let everyone consider that we are dead..." Yudhistir suggested . Everyone looked at him. Kunti agreed with him after giving a thought to her suggestion.

" Right then , we will do just as Bhrata Yudhistir said but I guess we have to get out from here as soon as possible because I could smell the palace getting burned." Bhim said.

------Time skip------

𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐯𝐫𝐚𝐣'𝐬 𝐏𝐎𝐕

" NOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!....." Rajkumari yelled on top of her lungs and fell on her knees  , as soon as we saw the whole palace was on the fire.

" N-No !...T-They cant d-die..." She cried in agony . The tears were flowing from her incessantly . The pain in her eyes made my eyes to water too.

I crouched down and hugged her and she snuggled into my chest while sobbing.

" Shush !..Dont cry Agni...I will go and check okay ,it is possible that they are still alive and just stuck inside the palace." I said while rubbing her back soothingly while she cried her heart out.

She suddenly stopped crying.

" Y-You are r-right t-they m-must be safe !...Y-You dont go , I will go a-and check...because I dont get b-burnt by f-fire..." She said but I cant let her go alone.

" But-"

" I a-am going , if y-you have even a tad bit of respect for me then you will not come with me..." She said and I sighed in defeat .

I saw her coming out of the palace with numb expression.

" What happened Agni ??....Are they alive ?...Tell me ?.." I asked in hurry and she looked in my eyes , her face was ghostly pale .

" Agar tumhe marna nahi hai toh dur bhaag jaao mujhse...." She said in a ghost like voice.

" What the hell are you saying Rajkumari-ji ?..." I asked in a bit loud voice.

" Yes Shiv ,run away...mere sath jo bhi koi sambandh rakhta hai wo jal jaata hai....I am cursed Shiv !......Please Shivraj , go away I dont want to be murderer of any more people.
I lost my Kaki , my brothers , my best friend and a person I loved !....I cant afford to be cause of your death too Shiv...
Go back to Mathura and tell everyone that forget about me because I am never gonna come back...
I will spend my rest of useless life in forests , not coming in anyone's contact..." She said with emotionless voice . Her tears were dried up , it was like she want to cry out loud but was not able to do.
I know she will not come with me and I cant leave her like this.

She started heading towards the forest walking like a ghost .
I pulled out a cloth and applied a chemical on it.

I went behind her cautiously and before she could understand , I placed that cloth on her nose , forcing her to to inhale the smell of that chemical..

Her movement stop and I caught her before she fall down. She fainted.

" Sorry , Rajkumari ... but its not your fault that they died , their death is already scripted by God ..they died because it was the time of their death . I cant let you roam around in forest , considering yourself tje culprit. Because if something happens to you , Rajmata would not be able to handle the pain of losing you...
Sorry for taking you like this.." I mumbled.

I mounted on the horse and place her on ny horse , infront of me and tied her torso to mine with a rope such that she should not tumble down the horse .
