Karn and Agni defend each other

Karn's POV

I slowly opened my eyes . It was 5:00 am so it was still dark. I usually wake up early.

But as soon as I opened my eyes I realised I was holding something or someone in my arms.
I slowly looked down and got horrified when I realised that I was holding Agni in my arms and she was hugging me and her face was snuggled in my chest.

Thank God , Agni is not awake or she would have killed me if she saw the state in which we were sleeping. But now if I did any kind of movement then she will wake up and I dont want to wake her up.

I slowly tried to remove her hands from me..
" Maa !...Let me sleep !.." She muttered sleepily and held me once again and slept. Huh!..

I guess I have to wake her up for a sec..
" Agni ,..." I muttered slowly but gasped when she shot her upward.

" Kya hua !!...dushman aa gaye kya !!??.." She asked in horror and was about to get up from the bed to take her sword and I rolled my eyes.

" Apne hyperactiveness ko thoda control kariye Yuvrani aur maar peet ke alawa bhi kuch sochiye.." I said while rolling my eyes.

" Okay , okay...What happened then ?...Why you woke me up ?..." She asked with droopy eyes . I frowned cause I dont know why buy she looked like she havent slept all night .

" Nothing, just you were hugging me in the sleep-"

" Oh shit !!!...I am sorry !* She said while scooting away from me , on the edge of the bed*...I am really sorry Arya , I dont know how-"

" Arey, arey ,thik hai..isme maafi mangni ki kya zarurat hai ?...You are my wife aur tum mujhe hug karke so rahi thi ye dekhkar mujhe kitni khushi hui tumhe pata bhi hai ?..." I asked teasingly but sighed when she was just slept while listening to me.
I covered her by the blanket.

" Well Agni , .... You really didnt slept all night !..am I right ?"

Author's POV

Karn completed his morning Sun's pooja and came back to his room . He opened the door and he shut his eyes closed immdiately and looked away when he saw Agni was draping her saree.

Agni who was engrossed in wearing saree didnt him immdiately but when she saw him standing weirdly with his eyes shut and his face red she got embarrassed and just shabbily wrapped the around her body.

" Atleast knock karke toh aate aap !.." Agni said in disbelief to Karn who had his eyes still squeezed shut.As Karn's eyes was closed she quickly started draping the saree around her.

" I-I am s-sorry.." He replied without opening his eyes.

" Its okay,...You can open your eyes.." Agni said calmly , once she draped saree around her properly.

Karn slowly opened his eyes . Both his and Agni's face were red due to embarrassment and it was getting damn awkward.

There was an awkward silence for a while.
Karn cleared his throat.

" I have to get ready fast , or else I will get late for Raj sabha.." Karn drawled.

Agni picked up the Angvastram kept on the couch and came near and Karn with a smile and Karn backed away a bit because her smile seemed creepy to him.

" Maine aapse kitni baar kaha hai ki kapde pehena kijiye .... from now please go everywhere by wearing Angvastram !..." Agni said while keepinv the angvastram on his shoulder and Karn was now getting confused at Agni's sudden softness in voice.
