Karn and Agni bicker over bed and sofa

Agni's POV

"Mention not !...Aur ha , Sorry for everything wrong I did with you !...Please accept my love for you soon..I will wait ttill then.." He said said and laid on the sofa and fell asleep in few minutes.Ughh!...itna he thak gaye the toh ye birthday party and all karne ki kya jarurat thi ?...Just a simple 'Happy Birthday' was more more than enough for me..
Why are you acting like this Karn ?... Agar mai maan lu aur tumhe aur ek chance du toh tum mera dil firse toh nahi todoge ?..

I sighed and got up from then bed . If Arya isnt sleeping on his own bed then I am not so dumb to sleep on it...

I strolled towards the sofa where Karn was sleeping.
I crouched down..
" Kaise akad ke so rahe hai !...Kabhi manoge toh nahi aap meri baat !.." I muttered while placing a blanket over him.

I glanced down at him and kept on gazing as he was shining like a sun when the moonlight fell on his face. The scene was so serene that I felt like I can stare at this face without getting tired for years.

I poked his cheek with my index finger and I know its kinda childish but kya he kar sakte hai , aadat se majboor hu..

My breath hitched when he suddenly grabbed my finger and pulled me making me stumble and fall before I could fall on his I balanced myself by keeping my hands on either side of his face on the sofa .

I opened my eyes with relieved sigh but my eyes widened in horror when I saw his eyes were wide open and looking at me with confused look.

" What are you doing ?...And why is your face so close to mine ?.."He asked and I wasnt even able to stand up straight because I was frozen in the shock , hovering over him with my our face extremely close to each other.

" If you wanted to kiss me so badly then you must have told me already !...Why are you trying to kiss me when I am sleeping ?..." He asked in a bit irritated tone . I some how got away from him.

" Itna chidne ki koi zarurat nahi hai , samajhe !...I was just placing a blancket over you as an act of kindness and you just pulled me over you !...And never ever think I will kiss you ever again even in your dreams !..." I spat and he sighed.

He came closer to me..
" H-Hey what a-are you doing ?.." I stuttered and started stepping back untill my back touched the wall and he kept his both hands on either side of my face , blocking me between his arms and wall.
I tried not to look at his body which didnt hand angvastram or any jewellary on it cause his abs are seducing and I dont want to portray myself weak , but I cant look directly into his eyes cause I get butterflies whrn I do that and that soft spot in my heart for him gets activated and I dont want to forgive him so easily.

I looked down but my heart started racing faster when he gently placed his index finger under my chin and made me look up and our eyes locked and I got butterflies in my stomach.Fuck !!...Push him away Agni !!...He is just trying to play with you again !!...

But I cant do that as my hands were not in my control. I just closed my eyes and waited for him to say something but heard nothing.

My eyes shot wide open when I felt his soft lips on my forehead. He kissed my forehead.

He let his lips stay on forehead for a while but that feeling of serenity and happiness I got was uncomparable , my anger literally vanished.

He detached his lips frok my forehead and cupped my face in his both and made me look at him but I looked down.

" I am sorry for getting irritated on you , love...I was just so tired that I got irritated when I saw you hivering over me and I guess its my fault cause as you told , I pulled you towards me..
I am sorry okay , maaf kar do...ghussa thuk do , please..." He apologised while holding his both ears with a innocent pout.

Author's POV

Agni couldnt help but chuckle and he frowned.
" What happened ?.." Karn asked in confusion but was feeling happy that he became the reason to make her smile.

" Oh God !...Do you even know how cute you looked with that pout , just like a small baby-" Agni stopped in middle when she realised what she was saying and she felt even more embarrassed when Karn was looking at her with amused smile.

Agni cleared her throat awkwardly.
" Aap thak gaye hai .. toh please sleep on the bed and I will sleep on the sofa..." Agni said and Karn rolled his eyes.

" The bed is quite big and two people could easily sleep on it , aur mai tumhe kha nahi jaunga agar tum mere sath soyi !....You have two options ,1) We both can sleep together on the bed , if you are uncomfortable then we will sleep on the opposite edges of bed by keeping enough gap between us.
2) You sleep on bed and I am more than happy to sleep on sofa..cause mai tumhe kisi bhi halat me bed ke alawa kahi aur nahi sone dunga !..." Karn exclaimed and Agni was like ,' WTF !...ye kya chutiya options hai !'

But as she saw Karn's tired eyes she decided to not to create more nuisance.
" Okay , option 1 * Karn grinned widely*...jyaada khush mat hoyiye !...I am just listening to you for today !..just consider it as mere birthday ko celebrate karne ke liye 'Thank you '" Agni said .

" Ji madam ..." Karn said.

Karn jumped on one edge of the bed and Agni laid down on other edge of the bed , letting enough big distance between her and Karn.

" Goodnight , Darling !.." Karn said and closed his eyes.

" Stop calling me by that disgusting names !.." Agni spat.

" Mera muh , meri wife , I will call you whatever I want...sweerheart !.." Karn answered .

" You just fuck off !.." Agni muttered but smiled when she realised that Karn fell asleep.

" Good night , Arya.." She whispered with a unknowing smile.
