𝐊𝐚𝐫𝐧'𝐬 𝐏𝐎𝐕

I opened my eyes slowly while adjusting the light. I felt pain in my whole body .

I tried to wake up but felt too weak and was about to bang back on the bed by someone caught my head from behind with one hand and I felt the warmth of second hand on my stomach.

" Oh my goodness , Angraj...you are finally awake !!!...." I heard a familiar chirpy voice and turned my head a bit to see Uruvi's face with a cute smile . 𝐻𝑎𝑦𝑒𝑒 𝑖𝑡𝑛𝑎 𝑐𝑢𝑡𝑒 𝑘𝑜𝑖 𝑘𝑎𝑖𝑠𝑒 ℎ𝑜 𝑠𝑎𝑘𝑡𝑎 ℎ𝑎𝑖 ?

" Rajkumari Uruvi ?...What are you doing here ?...What am I doing here ?...I was suppose to be in battlefield !!....What about Agni , Is she alright ?.." I asked desperately.

" Angraj , kabhi apne baare me bhi toh soch liya kijiye !!....Because of that Agni you were unconscious for three days and still you are asking if she is alright ?.." Uruvi asked in disbelief. I sighed.

" Yes , its weird that I am caring for her but I dont want her to struggle anymore....You dont know Uruvi , but her past is most horrible past I have known till now and one of the reasons of such past is me and now I just want myself to be reason of her smile and nothing else....I know she hates me so much that she called brahmastra for my death but I will try my best to apologise her and tell her all the truth..." I said while shifing uncomfortably in my bed as Uruvi was little too close for my liking. I agree that she is cute and well mannered and love her a lot like she is my own sister. But right now she was uncomfortably close.

" Your are too kind Angraj .... but let me warn you , she seems to be really cunning ...I just dont want anyone to take advantage of your kindness ..." Uruvi said while her face was reflecting genuine worry.

I smiled.
" Dont worry Rajkumari , I will take care that no one will take advantage of me and also thanks for taking care of  me !!.." I thanked but for some reason she gave me crooked smile.

" Ab bhala dusro ke innocence ka fayda uthane wale insaan ka koi kaise he fayda utha sakta hai !!.." I as well as Uruvi snapped our heads in the direction of the entrance to see Agni and her siblings standing. Oh ya !...she is princess of Panchal , one on her right is her brother Pratyush , I suppose and on her left is her sister Draupadi but who are rest two .

" What do you mean ?.." Rajkumari Uruvi asked in disbelief .

" Oye !...Jabaan sambhal kar baat kar !....Panchal me he tu-"

" Oh Shikhandini Jiji , stop scaring poor kid...and anyways we are not here to warn anyone to be in their limits !...And madam * she looked at Uruvi * , mene jo bola wo jise samjhna chahiye tha wo samaj gaya hai , am I right Angraj ??.." Agni turned towards me with a fake smile and I mentally rolled my eyes.𝐴ℎ !...𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑠 𝑔𝑖𝑟𝑙 !!...

" Oh yes , you are right Rajkumari-ji..." I replied with a tight lipped smile. Agni and her sibling sat on the chairs which were kept beside the bed and Uruvi sat at the corner of my bed making five of them frown.
