3rd person POV

At school the next day, Kat had a pretty normal day. She got to hand in her math homework that Chan helped her with and the teacher actually told her she did a good job for once. As you can imagine this boosted her mood a lot.

Their last period was dance class. Now it was setting in that she was really going to talk to Chan about their feelings, and she was freaking the fuck out.

She tried to distract herself by dancing as much as possible, choosing songs she was confident with to dance to.

Chan was staring at her dance.

Not watching her. Staring at her. Felix and Changbin being the only ones clued in were watching Chan stare at Kat and the rest of the boys were just so confused.

"Chan are you actually going to dance this lesson or...?" Hyunjin starts.

"Hyunjin shush for a second!" Chan almost shouts, making Hyunjin put his hands up in surrender.

Chan stands up and starts joining in Kat's dance, which was currently to Queencard by (G)I-DLE.

As this was such a girly dance it made the other members giggle at Chan doing this. Kat realised Chan joining in behind her and stopped dancing to turn around and she awkwardly laughed.

"What are you doing?" she questioned with a little laugh.

"Dancing, duh." he responded not stopping the dance.

Kat rejoined him and they finished the dance together, gaining cheers from their class mates.

At the end of the dance Chan went over to Kat to ask if she's okay as she literally hasn't stopped since the beginning of the lesson, not even for a water break.

"Haha yeah everything is all good in da hoodddd all gucci over here..." she kind of shouted in his face. Chan gave her a weird look as if to say, what the hell you have never said those words in your life.

"Kat what the hell." Jeongin shouted across the room. "I never wanna hear those words again, that made me wanna throw up."

"Rude, Innie!" Kat said and tried to run to tackle him but was stopped by a larger build in front of her.

"Chris seriously, I'm fine." she said, clearly uncertain in those words as they were a lie.

"I'll get it out of you later." he said in a low voice for only Kat to hear, making her stomach do a flip.

She breaks free of his grip, sticks her tongue out at him and then runs away to tackle Jeongin.

Once the lesson was over they all began their walks home. Kat was becoming more and more nervous by the second.

Eventually, the time came to turn away from Felix and Changbin as Kat was going to Chan's house. She had never been to his house before as her house had just always been the designated hangout spot for them.

As they enter Chan's house, Kat is greeted by an adorable little dog running around her legs.

"Berry, leave Kat alone." Chan rolls his eyes and picks the little dog up to give her some love.

Kat is also greeted by Chan's mother who is cooking in the kitchen.

"Chan, you didn't say you were having someone over, is this your girlfriend?" Mrs Bang says.

"Haha no mum, this is Kat, you know we normally hang out at her house." Chan responds. Though the question his mother asked made the air a little awkward.

"Ah my mistake. Kat, please make yourself at home." She says happily.

"Thank you, Mrs Bang, it's lovely to meet you!" Kat says, awkwardly.

Chan leads Kat to his room where they begin working on the music assignment.

For their assignment they decide to cover Fever by Enhypen. They decided this was a nice sensual song they could both strongly show their vocals with. Chan also decided to remix the soundtrack to add some touches to one up everyone else.

Kat begins to sing her part and Chan is absolutely mesmerised. He had heard her sing so many times before and every time he heard her voice it sounded better and better. If she doesn't make it one day then the world is lost because she truly has a beautiful voice, in Chan's eyes.

After Kat's lines are recorded, Chan records his. Kat never really hears Chan's vocals because he normally does the rapping or the producing side of stuff. She knew he had a beautiful voice but when he started she was genuinely at a loss for words. She had so many butterflies in her stomach that they could have also been flying around the room and out of her mouth.

Her face was practically a tomato at this point. Noticing this Chan asked "Hey, are you okay? do you need some water or want me to open a window?" suddenly being very worried.

"Huh! What? No I'm okay!!" she said trying to hide how flushed she was.

"Oh, are you sure, you looked a little red for a second there?" Chan asked, still worrying and not realising the real cause of her rosy cheeks.

"Yep!" she said quickly trying to hide her face.

They finished up the music assignment, listening to their work one more time and being happy with what they had.

Kat decided she just had to come out with it.

"Chan." she said quietly.

"Hm?" he hummed, headphones half on, only covering one ear.

"We need to talk." she said sternly.

"Why? Are you okay? Has something happened?" He said, not knowing she knew everything now.

"We need to talk about the party." she whispered,  and upon hearing this Chan looked down and looked upset.

Kat knew this would be a hard conversation, but it was one they needed to have.
