"Kat, seriously where are we?" Chan questioned me as I lead him through some back alleys with a blindfold covering his eyes.
"What would be the point in surprising you if I told you where we were going?" I teased him, knowing he likes being in control yet he had none right now.
He let out a defeated sigh as he carefully stepped one foot in front of the other, hands holding mine as his only form of sight.
As I led him across the grass and finally onto the blanket I had laid down, I pulled him towards the floor and made him sit down, ultimately letting him then take the blind fold off.
As he took the blind fold off and let his eyes adjust after being covered for 10 minutes, his gaze made its way to me, before he even looked around us and what I had prepared.
"Katerina..." he breathed, still looking only at me, "You... wow... you look amazing." he finally managed to get his words out.
I giggled shyly at his compliment, feeling a little smug about it knowing I definitely put in some extra effort just for him.
"Channie, you haven't even looked at where or why we are here." I told him, smiling at the handsome man in front of me.
"I don't need to look at anything but you, you look incredible, really." he emphasised holding onto my shoulders.
"Okay, and I appreciate that, but I put in a lot of effort to this so please take a look." I say and chuckle at him.
He smiled and sighed as if to say 'fine' and then looked around.
It was sunset time and we were on a field with no one around us other than the occasional dog walker. I had prepared a picnic blanket and some food which is where we were sat, with a perfect view of the sunset.
I had prepared some nibble foods which Chan's mum actually prepared for us and then I had made some chocolate covered strawberries for a dessert. I had also prepared some fake tea-light candles to give us some light and hopefully set a romantic mood.
It was also a clear night so that once we had finished with our food and the sun was fully down, we could stargaze.
"Kat..." he began, "this is... wow ... this is perfect, it's beautiful, you're perfect." he exclaimed, turning back to me and flashing me the most beautiful smile.
I tucked my hair behind my ears and smiled back at him. I was proud of this as it is the first properly romantic thing I have ever done, and it felt good that it was being done with someone who I knew would appreciate it.
"I love you." I blurted out without thinking, causing Chan to sit upright and look at me with shocked eyes before quickly turning into a bright smile.
"You don't have to say that if you're not ready." he responded, clearly thinking about before when he told me and I couldn't say it back.
"No, I mean it. After everything, I really love you, Chris, and I wouldn't want it to be anyone else." I smiled at him, a rosy colour probably across my cheeks having never said these words before.
"I love you too, Katerina." he pulled me into him for a hug and we lay backwards onto the blanket, revelling in the moment.

"Dad, I'm sorry for before." I told him as he sat next to me on the sofa, bringing me and Chan a plate of food.
"No, you had every right to be upset, Kat. I should never have turned back to the alcohol." he sighed.
"No, I should've been there for you rather than scolding you for it, I know it must've been hard after all these years." I admitted, I had been feeling really bad about what happened the other day between us.
"It's okay, by the way I have some news for you..." he paused for a moment, "Jaehee is pregnant."
"WHAT?!" I jumped up almost knocking my food off the table, causing my dad and Chan to jump from the sudden shout.
My dad chuckled at my reaction, knowing I knew this was a big thing for him and a big step forward that I think he needed.
"Dad, that's amazing, I'm so happy for you guys. Is she moving in with us?" I questioned.
"Yes, she will be."
"Oh dad, this is amazing." Tears welled up in my eyes as I gave my dad a hug. I pulled away and turned to Chris.
"I guess we should tell him then, huh?" I turned to Chan and he nodded at me to continue.
"We were reluctant to tell you because I didn't want you to worry about me, but me and Chan are together."
"Thats amazing, Kat. I'm so proud of how far you have come." My dad pulled me into another hug and then forced Chan to give him a hug.
"Don't you ever think of hurting her." he said, almost threateningly, I could tell he was only half joking.
Chan just chuckled, "I wouldn't dream of it, I love her."
"Glad to hear it, I'm happy she managed to find a handsome one." My dad laughed and I slapped his arm , looking embarrassed at my dad's words, and Chan just chuckled and thanked him.

"YES!" Seungmin screamed while jumping up almost falling and landing on Jeongin who flinched away in fear of being squashed.
I sighed in defeat as Seungmin had finally been able to beat me at Mario Kart.
"Congratulations, Seungmin." I said, jokingly annoyed that he had finally beaten me.
"You need to up your game, Kat, that was terrible playing from you." he advised, while chuckling.
"Pfft, shut up Seungmin, rematch and I guarantee that I will beat you." I smirked seeing his face drop and he put his controller down.
"No thanks, I wanna revel in my victory." he poked his tongue out at me and i just chuckled at his childishness while leaning back into Chan, who snaked his arms around my waste.
The boys started up a new game of Mario Kart and me and Chan decided to sneak away while they were distracted.
We walked down the street, hand in hand, a comfortable silence surrounding us.
"I love you." I spoke, not looking over to him.
He came and stood in front of me taking my other hand as well, and leant in towards me.
"I love you too." he whispered as he leant in and gave me a short but sweet kiss.
Chris Bang, I am no longer drowning, more like comfortably floating. I never want us to end. I love you.
