Chapter 2

[Taehyung's place]: that same evening: 

I stood at the entrance of the grand estate, my eyes fixed on the imposing gates that separated me from Taehyung. My heart raced as I watched the stoic bodyguards stationed at the entrance, their unwavering gaze a silent warning to stay away. 

After receiving those texts from Taehyung's phone, I couldn't think straight. I tried to reach out to him, but I couldn't. He didn't reply nor did he recieve my calls after that. All I could do was come here in person to see him. I have to talk with him. He can't do this to me, he needs to give me an explanation. He..said he loves me. 

And about this baby, I need to tell him. All that I knew at the moment was, I had to find a way to reach him, but for now, all I could do was stand there, aching with longing and frustration.

If I can't talk to him now…then I won't get a chance again. A thought crossed my mind as I made up my mind and approached the grand estate, I could feel the weight of the bodyguards' gaze upon me. I took a deep breath and tried to steady my nerves, but as I neared the entrance, the bodyguards stepped forward, their hands held out to stop me. 

"I'm sorry, miss, but you can't enter", one of them said, his voice firm. "I am here to meet—" "I have orders to keep you out", and before I could even finish my statement, he declared with a stern face. "Look, it's really important for me to go in and—" "Miss, please don't force us to take action against you and please take your leave", he again interrupted, leaving me speechless.

I stood there with my head lowered, I could feel tears welling up in my eyes but I tried my best to hold them back. Suddenly, a sleek black car pulls up to the gate, its engine roaring with power. The bodyguards and onlookers rush to open the gate, their eyes fixed on the mysterious passenger inside. Noticing the sudden rush I looked around and the car caught my attention.

[Author's pov]:

As the car pulled up to the grand estate, the woman's eyes were fixed on the imposing gates ahead. But as she neared the entrance, her attention was drawn to a figure standing at the gate - her son's girlfriend. She recognized y/n in just one glimpse, and with a deep sigh, she asked the driver to stop the car. 

The driver pulled the car to a stop, and the door of the car swung open, revealing a middle-aged woman, with striking features and a regal bearing, radiating an air of wealth and power. She had her eyes fixed on, y/n who was standing before her, and finally started taking steps towards her. Her designer dress clung to her curves, and her high heels clicked against the pavement with each step. 

The onlookers transfixed their gazes on her, watching her as she strode confidently toward y/n. "You shouldn't be here", she said, her voice firm. "I want to meet Taehyung", y/n replied, not caring about what she had to say and that made her frown. "Are you defying me?", Mrs. Kim asked, this time in a bit of a harsh tone. 

"Let me meet him", y/n again spoke up. "I need to talk to him so please let me just once—" "He is not willing to meet you", she cuts y/n's sentence short. "W-What?", y/n couldn't believe what she just heard.

"Look, young lady, It's better if you just take your leave and stop creating drama in front of my house", Mrs. Kim added as she looked at how y/n's face dropped at her words. But y/n still stayed stubborn as she continued, "Let me meet him once and I will take my leave". 

"Meet him for what? Didn't I already say he is not willing to meet you? So stop forcing yourself upon him", Her eyes turned cold as she replied. "You can take your leave now", with that she was about to turn around and walk back towards her car until Y/n spoke up again, "I don't believe you", she said, which made Mrs. Kim stop in her tracks and turn around to face y/n again.
