5. The Order of the Phoenix

Lilly's POV
Sirius told Harry that this was his house, as well as mine, and we offered it to Dumbledore as headquarters. Mundungus apologized to Harry for leaving and dad said he would have welcomed a dementor attack because he was stuck in the house for a whole month! They continued talking about how at least Sirius knew what was going on, but they have been cleaning. Then Fred and George used magic to move the food to the table fast. I grabbed Sirius' hand before it was stabbed by a knife, he thanked me. Mrs. Weasley screamed, "FOR HEAVEN SAKE! THERE WAS NO NEED - I'VE HAD EVOUGH OF THIS - JUST BECAUSE YOU'RE ALLOWED TO USE MAGIC NOW YOU DON'T HAVE TO WHIP YOUR WANDS OUT FOR EVERY TINY LITTLE THING!"
Ugh, she mentioned how none of her brothers did this and when she got to Percy, she stopped, I said quickly, "Well, why don't we eat?" We ate and Molly was discussing cleaning with Sirius; Bill, Mr. Weasley, and Lupin were having a conversation about the goblin situation and recruitment; Hermionie and Ginny were having fun with Tonk's powers and she was changing noses; Mundungus was talking to Mrs. Weasley about his dealings after she finished talking to Sirius; and Fred, George, and Ron were laughing.
We finished dinner, Mrs. Weasley called for bed and then Sirius said, "Not just yet, Molly. You know, I'm surprised at you. I thought the first thing you'd do when you got here would to be to start asking questions about Voldemort."
Harry said he asked Ron and Hermione, about it but they weren't allowed in the Order and Molly interrupted saying that they were too young. Sirius was going to tell them and then Fred and Goes got involved in it saying that they were old enough. Mrs. Weasley and Sirius got into a back and forth argument how Harry shouldn't know, he's on a needs to know basis, he is too young, he's not James, and how Sirius tends to act rashly. Finally I had enough, yelled, "That's it! I am sick of both of you fighting! You haven't stopped since Mrs. Weasley got here! Look, Harry has dealt more than what a lot of people have dealt with. The only reason you let me in was because of those credentials. Look, either way. Mrs. Weasley, you are like a mother to me and daddy, you're my father, and I hate the fighting that is coming with it! Look, here is a compromise, Harry gets to know some things, not in full detail, but a need to know! He gets information he wants and Mrs. Weasley, you get what you want, a protected Harry. Deal?" She looked at me with stern eyes and I sat down a bit intimated. They then got into a further argument how Mrs. Weasley really cares for Harry and she implies that Sirius doesn't care enough.
Sirius stood up and then Lupin piped in, "Molly, you're not the only person at this table who ares about Harry, Sirius, sit down!" He sat down and Harry was able to know information. Mrs. Weasley tried to get Fred, George, Ron, Hermione, and Ginny to bed, but Arthur told her that the twins were of age and could join. Ron protested that Harry would tell him and Hermione anyway, which he was if they weren't allowed to hear. Ginny was sent to bed.
Lupin and Sirius explained the purpose of the Order (to stop Voldemort), how Voldemort is keeping a low profile (Harry told Dumbledore that Voldemort is back, so Voldemort is now scared), how Voldemort is trying to raise his army while the Order is trying to counter that (by recruiting themselves), how Cornelius is trying to make everyone believe that Voldemort is not back (taking control of the Daily Prophet), and how Voldemort is trying to get a weapon. Mrs. Weasley wanted us off to bed and Harry wanted to join, but Lupin said no. He said it was for overage wizards who have left school.
George asked, "Why is Lilly in it then?"
I said, "I have been through every Hogwarts class at least once, I have a job at the Ministry, I am an Honorary Auror, and I am Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement... Want to test me now?" Mrs. Weasley sent us to bed and everyone complied.
