Lilly's POV
Neville, Harry, Luna, and I mounted on our thestrals. We neglected to remember Ginny, Hermione, and Ron couldn't see them. Luna and I helped them onto their thestrals.
We set off and during the flight I mind messaged to Neville, "I can feel a battle starting." He said, "Well if You-Know-Who is there then there will be." I said, "I mean more than that. I feel something is going to happen, everything is going to change..." He said, "Hey, I'll be there no matter what. I'm not leaving you alone..." I looked over at him and he smiled I nodded smiling back. If only he knew what crazy thing I'm going to do...
We touched the ground and Ron never wanted to go back on a thestral. We all squeezed into the visitors box and Ron dialed six two four four two. I said, "Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, Luna Lovegood, Neville Longbottom and Lilly Black Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement! We're here to save someone, unless the Ministry can do that first!" They got their badges and we went down. As soon as we landed we all toppled out. I landed on Neville. I pecked his lips saying, "Thanks, love."
We ran past the security desk (which was empty) and went in the elevator to the Department of Mysteries.
We were faced with a lot of doors and we went through them looking. We found a room full of brains and such. As we left we marked the door so we don't waste our time. We went to another room and found an archway. Harry, Luna, and I could hear voices. Hermione pulled Harry away and then we tried more doors, but it resulted in the knife Harry had gotten from Sirius to melt. Then we went into a room full of orbs and we ran to ninety-seven. We looked around and we couldn't see anyone here. Ron looked and saw an orb with Harry's name in it. It read, "S.P.T. to A.P.W.B.D. Dark Lord and (?) Harry Potter"
Harry went to grab it and Neville, Hermione and I said he shouldn't touch it, but he did...
Behind them, a drawing voice said, "Very good, Potter. Now turn around, nice and slowly, and give that to me."
Oh dung.
