36. The Only One He Ever Feared

Lilly's POV
Harry was in denial as he screamed. Lupin fixed Neville's legs and Neville came and hugged me. I was sobbing and sobbing; I couldn't stop crying. Harry went after Bellatrix. I saw Dumbledore battle Voldemort and I ran to try to find Bellatrix, Neville was following me.

Bellatrix escaped; I arrived and Voldemort saw me.
Time froze.
Voldemort laughed and said, "So, this is the famous Lilly Black."
I unfroze Dumbledore's mind, he could understand, hear, and see what was going on. I did that for Harry and Neville as well.
I said, "How do you know me?"
He laughed saying, "I knew your mother."
I pointed my wand at him and seethed, "My mother is dead! She died after your followers killed her! My father escaped and she was murdered on your orders!"
He laughed, "Shall I tell you who she really was? She was in love with me and she was to convince your father's best friends to switch secret keepers. I gave her a little, incentive. That unfortunately resulted in you and she was revealed to be a Half-Blood. Your mother never told me. She hid with your father for a year. She told him the child was his and that resulted in him protecting you. You are and will always be my daughter."
I shouted, "You liar!"
He smiled saying, "Go through my mind, given how natural you are at Legilimency."
I said, "You can fake memories!"
He said, "Ever wonder how you can see the future? Your mother was a Seer. Ever wonder how you have many amazing powers. You excel at every subject, especially Defense Against the Dark Arts. You have the makings of on Auror and to my understanding, you are Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement."
I said, "Why do you care, why are you suddenly all interested in me?"
He laughed and said, "To get you the truth, what else?"
I snorted saying, "Tom Riddle willingly being nice, no, you want something. What do you want with me?"
He narrowed his eyes at me and said, "To let you know who you're true friends are. Your mother and so called father lied to you, you are my daughter and I want to let you know that Potter will lose. I want my daughter to be there with me when I win."
I scoffed saying, "As far as I am concerned, my mother died a hero, protecting me from your orders to have us all killed. My dad died protecting me from your followers, you are the enemy. Go to hell." We dueled. I made sure that time continued. I only froze Neville, Harry, and Dumbledore.
I knew the Aurors were coming and I said, "Out of time, Tom." He tortured me and disappeared as he saw the Minister come from the fire place. I was knocked out.
Dumbledore talked to Fudge and sent Harry to his office. I just wanted to die...
