Y/N is always the passenger princess. Always has been and always will be. Alessandro firmly believes that a respectable woman should be driven around while she enjoys the view. Y/N doesn't mind, but sometimes she just wants to drive.
Like today for example.
Y/N pov:
Today Alessandro and I are going shopping. I am so excited. There is this new pair of heels that have just come out and I really want to try them on and see how they look on me. Alessandro is driving as usual and I was sitting next to him. Come to think of it, I never drive. I only drive to work, but even then Alessandro drops me off sometimes, so I only drive about once a month.
"Hey bear, can I drive on the way back?" I ask out of the blue.
"No," he says without hesitation and without taking his eyes off the road.
"What? Why not?" I ask, a little confused as to why he said no.
"Why would you want to?" he asks.
"Well, because I just realised that I never get to drive much, I only get to drive to work, but even then you usually drop me off on your way to work, so I don't know, I just want to."
He doesn't say anything, he just puts his hand on my thigh.
"Well say something," I say a little annoyed that he is just ignoring me.
"Princess, no need to get angry with me," he says, kind of laughing, which annoys me even more.
"Then answer my question, why can't I drive?"
"Princess, a relationship should be 50/50. I drive and you enjoy the view. If you drove and it was my job to enjoy the view, I couldn't enjoy the view. So it wouldn't be 50/50, it would be 100 on you. And that is something I will never let happen."
I am not going to lie, his speech kind of convinced me.
"Fine, OK, I see your point. Can I at least drive to work, there's really nothing special to see on the way there?"
"I'll think about it," he says.
-Time skip-
One week later
Y/N pov:
I am almost late as I had expected Alessandro to drive me as usual but he is going into the office later today so I have to drive which I am quite excited about.
As I walk out to find our car I notice there is another car in its place. With what looks like a note on the windscreen wipers.
I walk up to it, take the note and read it.
For you, to drive in when I can't.
I love you.
