(This story is set in high school. Alessandro is in his final year, and Y/N is in her second last year).
Y/N pov:
Me and Alessandro have been dating for a year and a bit. We met at an event that both our families forced us to go to, so we had that in common, and then three weeks later we found out that we go to the same school. We didn't tell everyone that we were dating—just close friends—because it's so easy to get caught up in the school drama. I just try to stay out of it, but people always talk about Alessandro. Mostly for two reasons: firstly, because he is terrifying to everyone else, and secondly, because he is hot. But we both agreed that we wouldn't tell anyone; we didn't have to, because, let's be real, we're never going to see these people in two years, so what's the point?
Lately, though, the whole thing about being private has kind of fallen apart. You see, one of the girls in Alessandro's class tried to ask him out. Of course he said no, but this girl would not stop, so he said he already had a plan, which is true, but he left out the part that I was part of the plan too. This girl clearly felt that something was missing, so like every other girl ever, she followed us. No, like she followed us when we went shopping on the weekend. How do I know? She posted it on her Instagram. Yeah, now everyone knows.
At first, nothing happened; people just whispered and looked at me, but I didn't really care. But after about a week, I started noticing little pieces of paper stuffed into the sides of my locker. I didn't look at them at first, but in the course of a week, the number of letters increased from 2 to about 30. So curiosity got the better of me. Well, let's just say I think I shouldn't have looked. Here are some of my favourite notes.
"You're going to regret this. You have no idea what you're getting yourself into."
"I hope you know he won't be interested in you for long. He's too good for someone like you."
"If you think this is going to lead to something serious with him, you're delusional. He'll just leave you for me."
Wow, it looks like I have some admirers. What do you want me to do? Stop dating the best man in the world, who is my other half, because they don't like it. Grow up; you are not 5 anymore. I didn't tell Alessandro about it because it isn't important that a bunch of girls like him; the less he knows, the better.

Alessandro pov:
Math is my least favourite subject. I am good at it, but come on, my teacher, Mrs. Sanda, is an old lady who is so close to dying. The only good thing about my class is that Y/N is in it; even though she is a year younger, my princess is so smart that she had to be moved up.
"Hey Princess, do you have that scientific calculator with you? Can I use it?"
"It's in my locker; you know my code."
I quickly ask if I can get something from my locker and make my way to Y/N's locker. As I get closer, I see a small piece of paper on the side of the locker. Like many of them. As I get closer, I realise there are even more than I thought. I knew I probably shouldn't have, but I just had to know why there were so many pieces of paper on the side of a locker, so I pulled one out and read it. I wish I hadn't.
"Jump off a cliff and die. Alessandro only said no to me because of you, you fat pig. If you are still with him on Wednesday, I will have to take matters into my own hands. Oh, and we saw you put these letters in the trash bin last week. We'll keep adding more if you do that. Loser"
I knew exactly who it was. It was that girl from my class who posted us on her Instagram. She's so weird that even if I didn't date the best woman ever, I would never date her. She's only 18, and her fake lips are bigger than her plastic-filled boobs.
But no matter how much I hate her, I will never get into a physical fight with a woman, so I guess I have to take matters into my own hands. Maybe a plan that Y/N doesn't need to know about

Y/N pov:
Today we're having an assembly, which is quite strange; we only really have assemblies for the start and end of term.
"Good morning, students. You're probably wondering what this assembly is about, and unfortunately, it's not good news. Recently, one of our beloved students had her house destroyed in a fire. You may know her and her family, so if you do, please make sure you send your well wishes to them, as they will be moving down. Thank you, and you can get back to class now".
I really can't believe it. Isn't it funny that the same girl who left letters on the side of my locker recently had her house burnt down? I don't think it's a coincidence.
As I walked back, I felt an arm around my waist. I turned to see it was Alessandro, and I looked at him.
He just says, "Next time, come to me instead of throwing them into the bin," then he walks away.
