Y/N pov
"Y/N, tell me again why you are up so early." My dad asks as I grab an apple from the fruit bowl.
"I'm getting coffee with the girls, dad," I say, not telling him it's Alessandro because he doesn't know we're together. Not yet.
"Oh, right. I forgot your coffee machine is still in the mail. Are you going straight to school?" he asks.
"Yeah, that's the plan."
"Well, you better get dressed because you're running out of time."
"I know, I know," I say before running up the stairs and changing into my uniform.
"God, I hate winter. Why is this uniform so ugly?" I say.
It takes me at least 10 minutes to put on my uniform. First, you put on a pair of black tights, then you put a pair of bike shorts over them. Then you put on your shirt and tie. You put on your skirt and roll it up at least three times, and then you put on your jumper and blazer. It was like they were trying to make my life difficult.
"Where's my bra?" I said I was looking for it.
"There you are," I say, putting it on quickly until it feels like a snap. I look down and see that the strap has broken off where it joins the cup.
"Great, that was my favourite. I must have worn it a lot. God damn it."
I start looking for a new bra and then start putting on my 15-step uniform. Once I was done, I looked at the clock. I had 15 minutes before I had to leave the house.
"Maybe I can do something with this." I think for a few minutes before I get an idea.
"I could make Alessandro one of those bra strap bracelets. Oh, that would be so cute."
I look up a tutorial on my phone and copy the instructions.
Carefully remove the strap and unhook it.
Cut halfway down.
Threaded it through and tightened it.
"That's so sweet. I'll give it to him today," I say before looking at the clock. Shit, I was supposed to leave 3 minutes ago. I better hurry. I quickly put the bracelet in my bag and run out the door.
-Time skip-
Three weeks later
"Hey Princess," I heard someone say as I turned to see Alessandro standing there, kissing my forehead, and taking my bag off me. I start to open my mouth, but he stops me.
"Don't ever fight me on this, Princess; you won't win."
"Yeah, I know, I know," I say as we walk back to my house.
"So why are we walking again?" I asked Alessandro.
"I thought it would be good to get some fresh air."
"And?" I ask.
"And my car broke down."
"Ah, that makes sense."
"I'll fix it tonight with Russo, so it'll be ready for tomorrow."
"Hey Alessandro, can you look in my bag and find my baby pink lip gloss? My lips need a touch-up".
"Sure. Is it in the front or back pocket?"
"Back."
"Oh, pretty flower," I say, bending down to smell and look at the flowers growing along the footpath.
"Princess, is this it?" he asks, pulling out a hot pink lip gloss.
"No, Alessandro, that is clearly hot pink, not baby pink. You know the difference, right?"
"Of course I do," he says, but I don't believe him.
"Do you think I should pick some?" I ask Alessandro, pointing to the flowers.
"I think you should do whatever you want," he replies.
"Hey Princess."
"Yeah," I say, turning to face him.
"What's that?" he asks, pulling out the bra strap I made for him.
"Oh yes, it's a bra strap bracelet. I made it for you when my bra broke, but I forgot about it."
"Can I have it?" he asked.
"Of course, it was made for you.
"Thank you, Princess," he said as he put it on and tied it up.
"This is better than any necklace you could have given me."
"I'm glad you like it."
"Is this baby pink?" he asks, pulling out a lip gloss.
"No, thats is cherry pink."
"They all look the same."
"No they don't."
PS: Alessandro hasn't been seen without it since.
