Y/N pov:
I woke up to the sound of birds chirping and the river water running down stream. I glance over to find that it's already the next day, and quite early. I move my body, cracking every joint, before realising that I am not in my bedroom. Memories of last night rush in.
I raise my hand, hoping I wasn't dreaming, and I wasn't. On my ring finger, a plain band gleamed with a few small, sparkling diamonds. Alessandro always understood my opinion that the wedding ring should be the biggest. My cheeks hurt from all the smiling, so I lower my hand.
I turn my head, hoping to see my fiancé, but all I see is an empty space in the bed.
"Alessandro?" I call, but there is no answer, so he must not be in the bathroom.
I find underwear, a bra, and shorts from the floor to put on before going downstairs.
As I run down the stairs, the smell of croissants and coffee hits my nose. I turn the corner to see Alessandro in the kitchen, cooking in nothing but grey tracksuit bottoms.
Observing the hot man in front of me, I stand at the door before wrapping my arms around his waist.
"Oh, good morning, future wife," Alessandro says as he stirs the coffee with a teaspoon.
"Morning," I say, rubbing my hand up and down his stomach, feeling his abs.
Alessandro turns around with a grin on his face before he lifts his finger and runs his fingernail along the front edge of my bra, drifting from one side to the other.
"Did you sleep well? You look pretty comfortable last night." He says, his eyes never leaving mine.
"Yeah I slept good," I say, placing my hands on the side of his waist and using my thumb to rub his abs.
He smiles, lifts my chin with his finger, and kisses me passionately. I smile into it and as soon as I kiss him back; he bites my lip, causing me to gasp, and he slides his tongue in.
We French kiss before I stop, aware of my lingering leg pain from last night and the walking we have ahead of us today.
He sulks as our mouths separate and uses his thumb to rub some of his saliva into my lower lip.
"We were getting to the fun part," he says, and I laugh at his childishness.
"We'll do the fun part later, but I'm hungry," I say.
"Happy wife, happy life," he replies before handing me my coffee and walking me to the dining room, where the food is all laid out.
"Shall we start planning?" He asks, taking my hand in his and kissing it.
"Maybe we should tell people first," I say, laughing at his eagerness.
"Well, all our friends already know, and I have asked your father and sister for their blessing, so they know as well."
My mouth falls open.
"You asked for their blessing? How did they react?" I asked curiously.
"Your dad was a bit reluctant, but I got there, and your sisters said yes only after I said I would buy them a crowns and shit," he said, and I burst out laughing.
"They grow up so fast," I say, continuing to laugh until I remember something important.
"You didn't ask my mum," I say.
"Ask your mum what?" He asks, but I think he knows the answer.
"Did you ask my mum's permission?"
"No, I haven't seen or spoken to your mum since your argument."
"Good," I say, glad I didn't have to deal with her.
Alessandro stands up and goes back into the kitchen, then comes back with one hand behind his back.
"What's that?" I ask.
He pulls his arm out to reveal a bunch of red roses.
"Oh, thank you, bear," I say, picking up the flowers.
I play with the pedals before looking up at him again.
"What have I done to deserve this?"
"For saying yes to marrying me." He winks at me, and I blush the same colour of the roses.
"Oh no, a handsome, hot man who loves me wants to marry me," I say sarcastically, putting the roses aside.
"We'll leave just before lunch, and we have a meeting with wedding planners tomorrow," he says.
"How did you get a wedding planner to come at such short notice?"
"Princess, I booked them weeks ago."
"Of course you did," I say before we both sit down for breakfast.
-Time skip-
A day later
"So what month are we looking at?" the wedding planner asked.
"Definitely something in March."
"March gives us the opportunity to do indoor or outdoor, so do you have a preference for indoor or outdoor?" She asks.
"Definitely indoor." I reply with no hesitation.
"Yes, definitely indoor." Alessandro nods, putting a hand on my thigh
"How many guests are we expecting?"
"Well, I'd say about 400 to 500 people." Alessandro says, looking at me for approval and I nod.
"Alright, it will be quite a big wedding then. Do we have a budget limit to stick to?"
"No, we don't." Alessandro says proudly
"Alright, good to know. How many people in total will be in the bridal party?"
"10. Five people each."
"Alright, that's a reasonable number. What type of people will be attending the wedding?"
"Friends and family."
"Yes, we'll keep it to that," I say, not wanting too many people to worry about.
"All right, so what kind of theme are we looking for at this wedding?"
"We both want a black tie, a very formal, elegant wedding."
"I think we have enough information to get started, so we will contact you if we need to."
"Thank you for everything".
After the planners leaves, Alessandro gives me a quick kiss.
"Mrs Ferraro sounds nice, doesn't it?"
"It does, doesn't it Mr Ferraro."
"And because we are going to have the same last name, we can finally share some of the same things."
"Really? I mean, we already lived together."
"I don't know, maybe like a credit card, a bank account?"
"Oh, my god you are insane."
"And yet you're marrying me."
"Yes, yes, I am."
