Y/N pov

"Baby, don't be nervous."

"I can't help it; it's our wedding. I want everything to go according to plan, and I've never seen so much security in one place before."

"Hold my hand. I promise everything will be fine. We are a team, and we can do this. Plus, most of the people we don't know well have been cut, so it's only people we are somewhat close to."

"Okay, solid."

"So without further ado, please welcome the bride and groom, Mr. and Mrs. Ferraro." Angelina's voice echoes.

The doors fly open, and the music begins. Alessandro steps out first, and I follow him. The whole area has been transformed; the pews replaced with round tables, and more violin players are scattered around the room.

We walk up to the microphone, and Angelina smiles warmly, knowing I am dying inside.

"Thank you all for coming. The next hour will be a happy hour with the dance floor open and the bar also open. After that, the cake will be cut and dinner will be served, so get all your dancing moves out before it gets too late," Alessandro says as the violin music changes to DJ music and everyone makes their way to the dance floor.

I walk down the stairs, pulling Alessandro with me.

"Come on, bear, this way to the dance floor."

"Woah, what happened to my shy bride? She got wind of an open bar and a dance floor."

-Time skip-1 and a half hours later

Ting ting ting ting ting

Angelina taps her glass lightly with her knife and stands up with Carlo.

"Could we ask the bride and groom to make their way to the two chairs at the front?"

Alessandro and I get up and walk over to the chairs. I've changed my outfit again. This dress is better for sitting and eating. It's a simple white dress, not as fancy as my wedding dress, but I love it. It has a thin net covering my body and arms.

"This is going to be ugly," I say to Alessandro.

"It can't be that bad," he says, but I give him a look that suggests otherwise.

"Well, we're already married, and it would take a while to get divorced, so that's good."

"It can't be that bad," he says, laughing.

"Save that comment for later."

"Hello everyone! My name is Angelina, and I am the bride's best friend and maid of honor. I think Y/N let me give a speech because she thought I would be funny, but my original draft was thrown out because it was not appropriate for a wedding. I don't know what that means; I thought my jokes were funny.

When I was younger, I always wondered what kind of man Y/N would end up with. I didn't expect it to be someone who knew her during her two-year skinny jeans phase, but any man who can still love you after a terrible choice of outfit is a keeper, so well done, Alessandro.

Alessandro and Y/N met at Uncle Danny's party, the famous one we all love to talk about to this day. That day, Y/N arrived late and disappeared for most of the party, so I thought she had run home, but it turned out she was talking to this guy the whole time. When we started high school the next week, I was in my first class of the day, which was French, and I got a text from Y/N saying, 'You won't believe it, that hot guy from last week goes to our school.' I thought it was cute until she texted, 'I thought he was older because everyone around him seems nervous, but how about we meet at my school after school and find out more about this guy?'

So we did, and what we found out I can't tell you, but I wish you all a great time together, and I'm going to hand the mic over to Carlo."

"Hello everyone, my name is Carlo. I am the best man and Alessandro's best friend. Y/N is a kind and caring person who is a perfect match for Alessandro. Alessandro is a cool, handsome guy who... sorry, mate, I can't read your handwriting!

All jokes aside, Y/N is really wonderful. When Alessandro asked us to help him propose to Y/N, we thought he had messed up and needed a way to make amends. We have so much faith in Alessandro, obviously.

When they met, you already knew Angelina, but this guy went from saying two words to talking to us for the rest of the night. We actually made him piss into a cup because we thought he had slipped something. He was so happy and talkative for the next few weeks that his dad got worried and went through all their food just to make sure he didn't get poisoned.

So before I get kicked out, I just want to say thank you all for coming and best wishes to the bride and groom."
