Leaving Celeste, my head was spinning from the revelations.

It occurred to me that if Brooke had been a bully during her time at Royal Camp, it might mean they were the ones who tormented Perse.

Royal Camp lasted two years, and since Perse was bullied during her first year, it aligned with the time Brooke and the second-year royals were there. I ruled out the gerists as suspects because they'd face severe consequences, possibly death, for harming royals.

Hayden not knowing about the Radiance made me lean even more towards Brooke, Paris, Maylee, and Renee being involved. I felt confused and didn't know what to do

As I strolled through the Zodiac Academy's hallways, my curiosity was piqued by the sight of Maylee storming off in the distance. Her tense expression was hard to miss.

A frown tugged at my lips. If my hunch was correct, Maylee might have been responsible for bullying my sister to the point of her tragic end. What shocked me even more was that after tormenting Perse and being her worst nightmare, they all acted as if she had never existed.

Their mistake. I would make them remember her name and they will take it to the grave

I approached Maylee cautiously. "Maylee, are you okay?" I inquired, putting on a facade of concern in my voice.

She gazed up at me, her eyes reddened from repressed tears. "I'm fine," she responded tersely, but her tone belied her true feelings.

I couldn't simply let it slide. "What happened?" I ventured with a guess. "Was it Brooke?"

She nodded, her tears flowing more freely. I pulled her into a comforting hug, speaking softly to reassure her. "It's okay, Maylee. You don't have to hide your feelings. You can confide in me."

She hesitated for a moment, then nodded and returned the hug.

I smiled to myself that's right, trust me, like the little emotional dick you are

After making sure Maylee felt a bit better, I headed to the library. What happened with Hayden had left me feeling really uneasy. I couldn't understand what Brooke did, and I needed answers. To beat her, I had to become even more powerful.

In the library, I looked around for a book about the Fire Clan's history. It could help me understand Brooke's powers and how she did what she did. I've never heard of such telekinetic control in the fire clan or anywhere. I ran my fingers along the book spines, trying to find the one I needed.

I spent a long time searching, but the book I wanted was nowhere in sight. All the other books gave the same answers of powers we all knew about. I was getting frustrated, wondering if I'd even find anything useful.

Just when I was about to give up and leave, I spotted an old newspaper from four years ago. It had Brooke's picture on the front page. I reached out for the newspaper and started reading. The article told a heart-wrenching tale of the tragic death of Brooke's family, a fact that had escaped my awareness until this moment. The somber expressions I had witnessed on the faces of her friends during our confrontation suddenly made perfect sense.

As I delved into the details of the loss she had suffered, I couldn't help but feel a twisted sense of satisfaction. How could someone be a bully when they had no parents. That's awfully pathetic. I laughed to my self

A girl with no family - it was a grim and lonely existence. No wonder she had turned to bullying. With a smirk, I carefully folded the newspaper and placed it in my bag, fully intending to read it more thoroughly later and use it to my advantage.

After leaving the library, my mind was still buzzing with thoughts and frustrations. I didn't want to go back to the dorm I couldn't stand the sight of Brooke and her pathetic little lap dogs . I needed to step away from that room for a while, or my anger might get the best of me. I reached for my shimmer, Brendaline, who shimmered into existence beside me.

"Brendaline," I said, "let's take a stroll, just the two of us."

Brendaline nodded, her shimmering form radiating a calming presence as we began to walk. The Academy was a beautiful place, and I couldn't help but appreciate its splendor as we wandered its corridors and gardens.

Eventually, our journey led us to the water Clan house. It stood there, ethereal and majestic, a testament to the clan's connection to the waters. I couldn't help but marvel at its beauty.

As I gazed at the water Clan house, the memory of I andHayden kissing resurfaced, and it stung like an old wound.

"Hello" someone said tapping me "I turned my head and was met with a dark-skinned short guy with boogers threatening to fall from his nose. He looked like he was created from mold "aren't you the girl who had sex with a boy she knew for only five days?" Laughter had followed, and I felt my cheeks burn with shame once more

The dwarfs are at it again.

I sighed, turning away from the water Clan house. It was a reminder of a time when I had been humiliated, thanks to Brooke. I dismissed Brendaline for a moment and decided to retreat to the forest. It had become my new safe place

Once I reached a secluded spot in the woods, I couldn't contain my emotions any longer. I sank to the ground, a mixture of anger, sadness, and humiliation welling up inside me. Brooke had done this to me, and I hated her for it.

After some time, when I had composed myself, I got up to leave. That's when something strange caught my attention. A group of people, both men and women, wearing white-purple cloaks, moved quickly through a tunnel nearby. They appeared to be up to something secretive.

Driven by curiosity, I decided to follow them. The tunnel's entrance was nearby, and I entered, making sure to stay discreet. But as I walked further into the tunnel, I was met with an empty passage. Confused, I turned to leave,

"Did I just hallucinate" but then I noticed numerous footprints on the floor. No, this wasn't a hallucination.

Did they just disappear I asked my self in shock

I looked around for traces of water and smoke in case it was an elemental teleportation but nothing.

Something strange was definitely happening. Scared, I ran back to my room. I wasn't about to die in a forest.
