Chapter 32

COLE'S POV

"He's going to be pissed." My girlfriend says looking at my arm but smiling.

"That's ok if he gives me too much shit. I'll just show him yours and the heat will be off me." I smirk and she goes wide eyed. "Take one for the team amoré."

Ria and I definitely did something stupid but very us. We got tattoos of each other's names. She wanted me to claim her so I claimed her and she met the challenge head on.

I have Victoria written on my right forearm and she has Nicolo Vincenzo on her ribs. We're going to go back and add to them we didn't have enough time today because of my initiation.

It's actually at Ria's house. This is the first one done here since Nicole died. So we are standing hand in hand in her great room waiting for everyone. She looks gorgeous in a light grey dress with over the knee boots. I'm in my dark grey suit pants with a black dress shirt on no tie and I have my sleeves rolled up with her name on full display. Which is why she was giving me a warning. We hear a whistle from the back room and I turn and see Dante waving us over.

We walk back there and Ria is taken off gaurd when Enrica goes flying into her arms. I get defensive a little, she's been through alot today.

"I was so scared. Don't you ever do that again. Do you hear me Vicky." She says not letting her go.
 
"I promise Ricky no more disappearing."  Ria says hugging her back.

Dante hugs Ria too. "I'm glad you're ok. You can't leave me to deal with both these crazies by myself!" I glare at him. I love that my friends love her.

Frankie comes up and hugs her. Ria was worried he was mad at her. "If I wasn't so happy you're ok, I'd be pissed as hell at you Blondie. If I'm going to be an accessory to kidnapping, I'd like to atleast know."

Ria giggles "I promise to include you in any and all felonies from here on out."

It's Remo's turn. He just hugs her and kisses her head. He whispers something that I can't hear.

"I promise" she says smiling at him.

He kisses her head again. He then looks at me. I haven't spoken to him since our fight. I'm actually a little surprised he's here.

"So Capo. Big day, nervous?" Ge acts like nothing happened happened.

"I've known about this my whole life. I'm ready."

He looks at Ria who is smiling up at me. "I think you are." Remo replies. Then gives me a bro hug.

We stand there talking to our friends for a while. I'm glad to not be in the crowd right now. I glance down at my Rolex it's a little past 7 so everyone should be here.

I grab Ria's hand. She grazes my knuckles with her thumb. I just smile at her.

"We need to make the rounds." I direct to her. She nods and rubs my arm excitedly.

"See you at the ceremony." I tilt my chin up to our friends saying goodbye.

RIA'S POV

I'm holding on to Cole's hand, more like Cole has a death grip on my hand. I thought he was bringing me into the great room again but he drags me into the kitchen. The event is being catered so its surprisingly empty. It's weird seeing my kitchen not occupied by Francesca cooking enough Italian dishes to feed an army. Cole hugs me and puts his head in my neck.

"You are worried." I say not ask.

He just nods and I rub his back.

"You were born to do this baby."

"It's not that. When we go out there everyone will see my weakness."

I'm trying to not be defensive. "We just went over this."
