Chapter 73

RIA'S POV

Enrica picks me up from my house after the gym. She grabbed Chloe and Avery first so I was able to shower thank goodness. I hop in the back with Chloe and we head to the Salon and Spa to get pampered for prom.

We started talking about the treatments we want to get.

"Ria I can't afford to get all the things you guys are talking about I just made my rent payment." Chloe whispers to me but Enrica and Avery were able to hear her.

"Chloe we take you out because we want to spend time with you. It's not charity can you please just let your friends love you?" I say softly.

"Frankie gave me his card anyways. You know your boyfriend would buy you this whole place if he thought it would make you happy." Enrica says to her.

Chloe blushes a little "and when he leaves I'm stuck with no friends, a closet full of things I'd have to get rid of and a buisness I can't run."

My hearts breaks for her. "You would never need to find new friends."

"I don't even like Frankie." Avery says jokingly. "I'd be team Chloe all the way."

Enrica chimes in "I don't see Frankie leaving. You have your hooks in him girl."

"That is true. He is smitten" I nod and look at Chloe.

She's still blushing. "I don't know why."

"Ask him." I shrug. "I bet it won't disappoint." She gives me another embarrassed smile.

"Because you're too good for him." Wnria answers her and we all giggle.

We pull up to the spa and all get out of Enrica's camero. Enrica and Avery walk into the spa I go to follow them but an arm pulls me back. It's Chloe.

"You ok? Please don't feel weird I just want you to be here. You work so hard and deserve to be pampered."

"That's not it." She says in a whisper. "Well it is and thank you but that's not it at the moment."

I scrunch my eyebrows together and tilt my head. "What's up Chlo?"

"I saw your labs at work yesterday."

My eyes widen. Yes of course she would she works for Laura now.

"I'm not going to say anything. I wouldn't anyways plus it's illegal."

I nod. "I know you wouldn't. I trust you."

"I just wanted you to know that I know in case you need someone to lean on."

I pout and try not to cry. These hormones are already pissing me off. "That means alot thank you Chloe." She hugs me and I hug her back. "Ok" I say pulling away. I try to wipe my face. "Can you tell I was crying?"

"One hundred percent. Ric is going to know immediately."

I just laugh and shake my head. "Well let's go get beautiful." Chloe chuckles and links her arm in mine as we walk inside.

I'm staring at myself in the full length mirror trying to make sure I look perfect. I'm wearing a sparkly champagne mermaid dress. It has an open back but with spaghetti straps so it shows off my boobs perfectly. I have my hair straight with a middle part but its pined back on the sides with gold clips. I have simple gold shoes and earing but I'm wearing a champagne diamond bracelet that belonged to my mother. My father just gave it to me. I started crying immediately and he was taken aback at first but quickly comforted me. I need to get these hormones under control.

I take a deep breath and exhale loudly I've just played this day so much up in my head I don't want anything to go wrong. I go downstairs to meet my friends and the first person I see is my handsome boyfriend.
