10: (not) Drunk 'n Disorderly

The rusty bell rings as you and Jay go up the ramp to grillby's. The fire monster waves at you, along with some random rabbit monster you've seen every other time you've entered the bar.

You and Jay make your way over to a table. The group of ragged dog monsters glance over at you. The one you learned was called "Gd" or greater dog, started drooling when he caught sight of you. Must be hunger, or just the fact you're made of bones and you know...he's a dog.

You begin to talk with Jay, keeping an eye on the dogs while doing so, unconsciously clutching your bat even tighter, leaving indents in the bat where your claws are piercing the dirty, dusty wood.

Jay snaps xeir fingers in front of your face. You snap out of your thoughts.

"Hey Leef, I was asking what kind of things you do in your forest? Maybe I could come with you one of these days"

you're apprehensive to agree with this. You really don't want Jay to get hurt. Especially with the dog squad eyeing your forest. But you really could use an extra set of eyes in there, heaven knows your eye isn't the best.

You think about it for a moment, weighing the pros and cons.

"Sure, so long.. as you actually liste..n to what I say.. and you'll go ho..me when I... tell you to." Xe gives you a lopsided grin and a mock salute. You sigh, you just know you're gonna regret this when xe is yapping in your ear the whole time.

You can't help but to savor this moment with Jay, who knows when it'll be calm like this next.

Just as you relax into the booth in the bar the bell rings, immediately jolting you back into alertness.

It's papyrus. What is he doing here, he looks... well let's just say he's looked better (you all have) his scarf is tattered and he doesn't have that smile on his face anymore.

He glances at you for one moment, something- god you wished you could understand what people are feeling this is so frustrating,-flashing in his eyes before he goes to sit down with the dog squ-

The dog squad. He's sitting with the dog squad, first they try to take your forest now they take your friend from you. They need to pay you need to feel their dust in the grooves of your bat. You need to feel as their bones crunch and the magic blood spills onto the snow from the rusty nails. You need to paint the ground with their colorful blood. You bet gd would have justice,yellow blood. Ld would have patience, light blue. Dogarressa would have-

Jay taps your shoulder and you flinch away. Xe points to the door with a questioning look on xeir face. You nod and stand up. You glance back at papyrus as he sits there with the dog squad. You tear your gaze away as Jay comes up to you.

As you exit the bar with the brown rabbit monster in tow you feel eyes on you again, well not really on you, but you have this feeling that they are looking for you. gosh you should just keep your hood up. As you fix your hood onto your skull the eyes land on you for a moment but go away soon after.

When you see the house in the distance you trip over your big feet, you got distracted and forgot to focas on how you walked. Your face gets shoved into the snow and it goes into your eyesockets.

You can hear Jay laughing at you from behind. You slowly get up, your joints protesting from the cold. You scoop up some snow from the ground and toss it at Jay. Effectively getting snow on xeir face too.

Xe bends down and scoops up more snow. And chucks it at you, your hood fell down, so the snowball goes into your skull. As you open your mouth and shake your head in an attempt to get the snow out, you hear Jay shout

"GOALLL" you laugh and continue the snowball fight. Only stopping when you almost are unable to move from your joints. Jay helps you up and the two of you make it into your house. Laughing and giggling the whole way.

After you both dry off with a towel you sit on the couch. A blanket over the both of you. You and Jay just sit in a comfortable silence.

You mull over the event of the day, papyrus joining up with the dogs, that probably means that when the dog squad invades your forest papyrus will be there.... We'll it wouldn't be the first time you'd have to kill someone you considered a friend.

You had to kill your sister in your past life after she got infected with haleef. Jess was her name, you two would usually cook dinner together, but when you two escaped the house after your mother got infected, she got bit by a wandering haleef when searching for supplies. And didn't tell you until she was standing infront of you, drooling and a bite on her leg oozing a purple puss, and purple spikes protruding from her back in a mess of blood and skin.

She's where you got your bat from, Jess was a big baseball player, so you killed her with her own bat. And left her on the street to rot.

If papyrus tried to take over your forest with the dogs you wouldn't discriminate, you'll kill him.

Ok ok so the schedule for this book is every Friday, and sometimes on a Monday also! So if you're lucky you get two chapters a week!
