24: Wawawa Fwosh Clank Bang

You've finally put Bubbles in his tank and you think he likes it!! You've yet to find out if Nightmare can sense the emotions of an animal or you would ask him.

But Bubbles is lovely, and is happily swimming around in the tank.

You're finally allowed to go on another mission after getting all healed up now your joints are only creaky when it rains or you do a lot of stuff without resting.

All in all you'll call it a win.

You've also been cooking more often for the gang, you forgot how much you enjoyed cooking a real meal that wasn't just a can of vegetables or an animal over a fire.

Cooking is a comfort for you now. You're able to know exactly how much food y'all have in the house without seeming like a creep, looking through the pantry randomly.

  Anyways, you're in the living room sitting and watching Bubbles swim around his tank, you're eating some waffles while you wait for the people to come down.

Apparently Killer and Dust are gonna be on the mission with you,( after reminding them many many times that you can't use magic) they wanted to redeem themselves or something, and you can't exactly say no.

The two others slowly trickle into the living room, now just waiting for Nightmare.

Y'all go through the usual motions, making sure you have your weapons, stretch a bit.

Once Nightmare arrives he conjures up a portal and pauses.

The portal looks more grey then anything.

No one comments on this, but you Can tell that Nightmare noticed as well. Dust is talking with Phantom, and Killer is staring off into space.

Nightmares makes the motion to close the portal. But it simply flickers slightly and starts pulling on all the creatures in the room.

Alarm goes through everyone as Nightmare tries again and again to close the portal. But nothing happens, the pull just becomes stronger.

Then your vision goes black

You awake with a sharp pain on your arm. As soon as you open your eyes you get assaulted with a bright light directly in your eye. You look up to Jay, who is looking very rattled

"Holy fucking shit, I don't know where we are and everyone is unconscious and you weren't waking up and I.... I'm scared Leef."

You jolt up, panicked, Jay never calls you just Leef.

"No.. no Jay Jay, itll be fine, that's what you always tel...l me right? I'm awake now, I'm sure the ot...hers will fol...low suite.."

"Yeah... yeah"

"That's right... it'll be fine... we're fine..."

You look around at your surroundings.

You seem to be in a dark room, a machine in a corner, screws strewn around the room, along with other bits and mechanical bobs that you don't know about.

You look down to your arm, trying to stay calm despite the situation.

Shards of glass are stuck in your arm, dripping purple blood on the floor. Fuck

Following the pool of your magical blood you see Bubbles, flopping around in a puddle of water, slowly mixing with your blood.

You do admit that you panicked a little bit. Bubbles is slowly enveloped in your blood.
