You search out your room and hide away under your bed. You just need a good long moment of silence after so much social interaction.

You're tired

And so you fall asleep

Not sure for how long. But you know you wake up when Killer comes busting through the door.

"Leef Leef Leef, Nightmare is letting us go on a supply run to a pacifist au for random shit! Crossy boy is coming with too! So we can just grab whatever we want! Cross'll handle the important stuff!"

You finally feel well-rested, so might as well get up to some antics, you can even grab Jay's fish!

You shoo Killer out of your room and turn to Jay. Xe is just floating there in thought.

"Jay Jay Jay Jay,...we're gonna go ge...t stuff, you'll wan...na come with to get yo...ur fish!"

"Omg bet!! Ok ok I'll come along.... Hey Leefy. What do you call a fish with no eyes?"

You simply give a questioning noise while trying to look presentable.

"A fshhh" you sigh disappointedly and walk out of your room. Meeting up with Killer, Cross and Nightmare.

You don't hold a grude against your boss, not at all. plus, you actually got a good sleep afterwards, so no harm no foul.

You quickly grab a pack of saltines and step through the portal Nightmare made.

Cross and Killer glance at you in the new universe. A large mall standing in front of you.

You don't give it a second thought, but Jay is gasping next to you, looking up at the blue sky.

Oh... right, you were underground.

You stand there for a moment taking in the fresh air.

"Leefy... we're actually on the surface. I... it's so pretty."

"You...can stay here if y..ou want.. I'll co..me for you when I find... the pet store."

Jay just nods at you and sits there staring up at the clouds.

"Who're you talking to Leef?"

Right, Killer and Cross don't know about Jay. Well they're chill with Dust at least, and you'll throw hands if they're mean to Jay.

"Old friend... xe's a ghost... long story. Kinda like Dus..t's brother, xeir na..me is Jay"

If they think your crazy, oh well, maybe you are.

"Cool" Killer replies,

"You wanna stay out here for a while longer? Take in the surface?" Cross continues, Killer is bouncing on his heels excitedly

You just shake your head and take a step forward towards the large mall, humans and monsters spilling around you.

Jay'll find you when xe wants, for now you just stick by Cross as you enter the busy building.

Yes you've been in a mall before, just.. not one that wasn't abandoned. There's just more people than you'd like.

You flip up your hood to cover your hole and get on the move.

You get the necesites, clothes, soaps and stuff, you did get some gold from Nightmare so you didn't have to worry about prices that much.

And you were right, Jay did come find you, right on time too. As soon as you catch sight of a pet store Jay comes floating through a wall
