your new place of residence is pretty dusty, with boxes all over the place, containing random stuff like cleaning supplies and canned food, see, when you release the worms the monsters here will have plenty of food to survive with, theyll be completely fine.
it looks like it was used as a storage place, and they didnt even clean it before kicking you all out here. Cross claps his hands together, making a strange clinking noise.
"alright. we gotta clean this pig sty somehow. Dust, move the boxe-"
"woah woah woah, who put you in charge?" Dust exclaims, throwing his hands up in the air,
"thats right! im in charge!" Killer buts in, throwing in his two cents
"SHUT UP KILLER" Dust, and Cross shout in unison, unfortunately uneffective in actually shutting him up as intended, you snicker from your spot behind the group, despite your better judgement you trust these skeletons, you shouldnt, but you do. dont, the soonest chance they get theyll just betray you, just like Ziggy.
you jolt at the sound of the fake Jay laughing along with you, you cant help but distort it's voice in your head, hearing a horrible cackling. you quickly look away fearfully, you dont like the fact that this spy is so close to both you and your family.
"hey Leef," you get kicked out of your thoughts by Dust speaking up. you find that you two are all alone, aside from the spirits floating along beside you
you look up at the skeleton in front of you
"whats up with you and Jay? you seemed pretty close before..." you didnt tell Dust about this imposter Jay.
"its.... not Jay, i kn...ow it, Jay died infront of m..e dont let it con...vince you otherwise." you spit out, pointedly not facing Jay, the fake Jay just looks sadly at you, but you sense some kind of... acceptance from it.
"i.... if that is what you want to believe... just..." the fake Jay trails off, looking at you pleadingly with its stolen face
must be because it knows you busted it's secret. im sure if you release the worms then itll go away.
"Leef... thats exactly what i thought when i first started seeing Phantom.. I thought it was my mind playing tricks, i dont know why you decided that xe wasnt real, but.... be nice."

you rub your eye sockets and nod at Dust. you wont speak to this fake Jay. but you wont actively antagonize it either, would be safer that way.
you know it deep in your soul that this Jay is fake. you dont even know how you would have seen Jay if xe really was a ghost, that wouldnt even make sense
Dust nods as something clatters so the ground in the other room. you hear a loud string of curse words that would put any teenager to shame.
