The room was silent. No one was understanding what Yeonjun had meant. Seungmin was the first to speak up.

"What do you mean? How is everything going to go to shit?" Seungmin asked, his heart beating faster. 

Yeonjun sighed and looked down, "You don't get it do you?"

The hybrids turned to look at him, hearing his heart beating faster. The hybrids all knew that something was wrong. "Yeonjun, you can tell us," Chan said, placing a comforting hand on his shoulder.

"Do you not get why I lied to you about my dad? It's because he was the mastermind behind this whole hybrid thing. I have to work for him even though I don't want too..." Yeonjun spoke, his eyes watery.

"What? So you're saying that your dad created us?" Minho asked, his eyebrow raised. "Yes."

"Well that still doesn't explain how he knew my parents," Y/N said, gazing at Yeonjun. For some reason, her mind was telling her not to fully trust Yeonjun. She didn't know if it was because of his father or if it was because of something else.

"He knew your parents because they used to work for him. Your parents also played a part in creating hybrids. That's how I knew about Seungmin. My dad had told your parents to test Seungmin and bring him home to see how he would do in another environment," Yeonjun spoke, gazing at Seungmin.

Seungmin scoffed, "What are you saying? I was only brought here because I was a lab experiment?" Yeonjun looked down, feeling guilty. Seungmin didn't need anyone to answer and had already knew that was exactly what had happened.

Seungmin felt his throat getting tighter and his heart beating faster. He was only an experiment...? Seungmin cleared his throat and spoke up, "How come I don't remember this?"

"You were young at the time and were mostly in your animal form, so that played a part in your amnesia," Yeonjun spoke, looking at Seungmin with sad eyes. It was clear Yeonjun felt bad for what his dad did. "Oh..." Seungmin said, looking down. Jisung sensed Seungmin's change in mood and instantly went to his side, comforting Seungmin by placing his hand onto Seungmin's arm.

"What about me? How did he know me?" she asked, staring at Yeonjun. 

"He knew that your parents had a daughter and he wanted to find you. You also were part of the experiment. They wanted to see what effect it would give if a child was exposed to hybrids at a very young age and now we can see that," Yeonjun muttered, gazing at Y/N every few seconds.

"Did he tell you to befriend me? So you could study me?" she asked. Yeonjun remained silent, confirming her suspicions.

Y/N looked down, thoughts all rushing into her mind. So this whole friendship was a lie? Everything he had done was a lie. Every single thing. Then what about their first meeting was the planned as well? She looked up, glaring at Yeonjun with emotionless eyes.

"Our first meeting. Was that planned as well?" she asked, her words laced with anger and betrayal. Yeonjun looked at her and pursed him lips as he nodded. She scoffed and got up, "To think I actually trusted you."

Yeonjun gently grabbed her wrist, trying to stop her from leaving. "Hey, don't say that," he whispered, his voice cracking. "What do you mean? Our whole friendship was a fucking lie. Nothing you said was true. Not a damn thing," she spat, tearing his arm away from hers.

"Get out of my house and don't you ever come back here," she yelled, opening the door. The hybrids stood there in shock. They had never seen her this angry. They all looked at one another, realising that they had to do something. It wasn't all Yeonjun's fault and they could see that. But, they could also see why Y/N was feeling betrayed. They had all come to like Yeonjun to a certain degree and liked how happy he made Y/N feel.
