Y/N and Hyunjin nodded at him and immediately walked over to him, embracing him into a tight, yet comforting and warm hug from either side. The rest stood closer to Felix and smiled at him in a reassuring way.

"No one's going to judge, say whatever you want," Chan reassured Felix, smiling at him.

Felix nodded and looked down, trying to control his growing heart rate. He pursed his lips and leaned his head into Y/N and Hyunjin's embrace, allowing their comforting aura to calm his nervousness. Felix closed his eyes and thought about where to begin. 

"So... you've already heard what Hyunjin said about our friendship..." Felix started, "so, I'll tell you what happened when I disappeared."

The rest nodded their heads in understanding, the understanding smiles on their faces not going away. They looked at him eagerly, some more than others, and they all sat down around him.

"The night I disappeared, I was actually scavenging for food for Hyunjin and I. The very little food we had tried to ration had finished and we had been starving for three days. It hurt me seeing Hyunjin starve but lie to me just to make me feel better. So..." Felix sighed, closing his eyes, "I decided to go outside. I knew it was dangerous and dumb... but I had to do something or we both would've died."

"While I was outside, in a place not too far away from our pack's street, I noticed a group of men and women talking. Some of them looked kind enough to spare me some food... so I went over to them hoping that at least one of them would like cats. When I was walking over to them... this... group of people from animal control had seen me and started chasing me with nets. I..." Felix sniffled, "I... froze. I didn't know what to do. I just... froze."

"It was dumb... and it was stupid... and it was a cowardly thing to do... but... I didn't know what to do. I.. should've at least tried to run away, that way at least I could've been with Hyunjin. But... I didn't because I was too scared. This stupid fear that was always in me finally took over and ultimately caused me to go through shitty things."

"Then... when those guys took me to a shelter, a group of fancy looking men in black were there waiting for me. At the time, I didn't know how they knew who I was, but now... I know exactly how. Those men carried me over to some room and tested me. They took some samples of my blood and tested it. They eventually found out I was a hybrid and... well... they brought me to some lab," Felix bit his lip, trying to stop sobs.

"The lab was filled with other hybrids of all types, behaviours, sizes and colours. There were wolves, bears, foxes, dogs, cats, birds and even cheetahs. Some more aggressive than others... but they found many ways to get rid of their hostility."

"They brought me to a room called 'Domestic animals' and placed me into a cage. In that cage was Seungmin and Jisung. I eventually made friends with them and for continuous weeks we were planning an escape route, all while undergoing certain procedures and tests from those scientists."

"Those tests they had done on us were inhumane. They would use certain neurological tools that had the ability to go into our mind and figure out our entire life and our behaviours. After that, they would test us and experiment on us by cutting us open and injecting random fluids into us to try and make us into stronger hybrids. Sometimes these fluids wouldn't work... and well... we'd be in the intensive care unit of the lab for five days straight. That's how I got these..." Felix spoke, pulling his shirt up to show multiple harrowing scars on his abdomen, each and every one of them having their own story behind it.

"Finally, after exactly 14 weeks and 3 days, we came up with a plan. A plan that would help us get out of the lab. Being in the lab for so long, we each knew certain scentists' behaviours and their schedules. The plan was that, when all of us gets taken for testing, Seungmin would act as if he had gone feral and tried to hurt Jisung and I. The scientist we would have would then separate Seungmin from the two of us, allowing Jisung and I to escape through a small ventilation system within that time period," he said.

"Once Jisung and I had escaped, the scientist would most definitely have let go of Seungmin as they were panicking in that moment and would've tried to find us, leaving Seungmin alone. But, Seungmin had to act fast as the scientist would most likely have pressed the alarm to notify the others. Luckily, Seungmin was quick and escaped through the ventilation system. After that... we all just... ran. We needed to get away from that place and we didn't care where we ended up."

"After a few hours of continuous running, we had reached the same place my pack had lived, but only this time, it was empty. The whole place was a mess, with rotting food on the ground and fur everywhere. But that wasn't even the worst thing... there was blood. And a lot of it. Most of the blood belonged to the bears... but I could smell Hyunjin's blood. I thought... he had died... because of me..." Felix muttered, wiping his tears. 

"But then, from there... I could smell a familiar scent a few metres away from the blood, a scent I could never forget, Hyunjin's. I knew that he was alive. Jisung, Seungmin and I followed the scent until it had vanished. We thought all hope was gone until we found a small abandoned shack near some hospital," Felix spoke, looking at everyone. 

"We decided to stay there for a while and we did. For exactly three and a half days. Those three days went by so slowly and we were all starving. On the third day, Seungmin sweared that he had seen the same red Toyota Yaris with small screwdriver markings that was parked in front of the hospital somewhere. Turns out... that car was yours Y/N. Then... we found all of you..." Felix smiled, for the first time in the conversation.

"I was lucky that I was placed in a cage with Seungmin and Jisung and not... some other animals that probably would've killed me," Felix chuckled lightly, looking at the two.

"I'm glad you're okay Felix," Hyunjin smiled, hugging Felix even tighter.

"And I'm glad you're okay. I'm glad I found you. I'm glad I found all of you," Felix beamed, pursing his lips together.

"You know what I find weird?" Chan spoke up, looking at everyone, "we're all connected. Like... everything that we've all been through... it's all connected. Now I know I've said this before... but... I think we're all destined to be with each other."

"Destined? Do you really believe that?" Minho asked in a disbelieving tone.

"Chan has a point..." Jisung said, holding Felix's hand, trying to comfort the blonde male.

"I believe in destiny and fate... and I believe that we were all... meant to find each other," Jeongin smiled, looking at Felix.

"Wait guys... is that...?" Changbin uttered, looking out the window, pointing towards a familiar car in their driveway.

Just then the doorbell rang, causing all nine of them to turn their heads towards the door.

"Where have I seen that car before...?" Seungmin mumbled, trying to think about all the cars he's possibly seen in his life.

Y/N furrowed her brows and looked outside the window, her mouth dropping at the familiar sight.

"Son of bitch," she mumbled, looking out the window, "Yeonjun. It's Yeonjun's car."
