After that day everything changed, Josie and Wendy started to get closer, hanging out, talking more, and Jade and Penelope couldn't be happier. They know both their stories and all they want is for them to be happy.

"So Wen, you and Jo have gotten closer." Jade said with a big smile. "Yeah you two have been hanging out for the past two months." Penelope said with a chuckle, making Jade laugh. Wendy just rolled her eyes though she couldn't contain her smile. "Mami." Said a toddler walking towards her, making grabbing hands to her.
Wendy turned to her daughter and picked her up. "Hey my beautiful baby." Wendy said as she kissed her daughter's face, making the toddler laugh.

They were all enjoying breakfast when they heard the doorbell. Wendy stood up to see who it was, and when her eyes landed on Josie she smiled instantly. Josie opened her arms, jestering for a hug, which Wendy immediately aspected and hugged the tall girl. Josie wrapped her arms around Wendy and hugged her tightly, giving her a kiss on her head.

"Hey love birds, come inside." Jade said, making both her and Penelope laugh. Wendy rolled her eyes, as Josie just smiled as they both walked into the apartment. "So what are you doing here Jo." Penelope asked as she took a bite of her omelet. Before Josie could answer, the toddler came running to Josie, saying. "Mama." Josie smiled as she picked her up. "Hey my little Amy." Josie said as she hugged Amy and tickled her in the process, making everyone laugh, at how happy Amy was.

Amy calling Josie 'mama' was no surprise, ever since Josie and Amy met they formed a beautiful bond, and Wendy couldn't be more happy about it. She loved how Josie would visit them every morning and take them out to the movies, or out to eat, and that is what had gotten Wendy to fall for Josie so fast. "Well to answer your question Pen, i promised this beautiful little girl to take her to a picnic." Josie said with a smile. "Well we're ready, I packed everything we will need." Wendy said as she stood beside Josie, who had Amy in her arms.

Jade and Penelope smiled at them, admiring how beautiful they looked, and how they looked like a family. Josie and Wendy walked out of the apartment to put everything they would need into Josie's car. When they were done, Josie picked up Amy and put her into the car seat she had installed not too long ago. During the car ride Josie had put on some music, singing along with it as Amy smiled and clapped as Josie sang, Wendy just smiled, cherishing these memories, scared of what was to come when Josie would leave.

As they got to the park they laid the picnic blanket down, as the three sat and had fun, Josie and Wendy watched Amy play and laugh. "So what's wrong?" Josie asked Wendy. "Nothing." Was all Wendy said. Josie reached for her hand making Wendy freeze and turn to Josie. Josie had a sad look as she said. "Please don't lie to me." She said as she looked down. Wendy took a deep breath and said.

"I like you Jo, and I'm truly falling for you." Josie looked up with a smile and was about to say something when Wendy cut her off. "But I don't want to. I don't want to fall for you, because all I know is how bad it will hurt when you leave." She said with tears in her eyes.

Josie moved closer to Wendy and leaned into her as she said. "I will never leave you, because I would never do anything to hurt you. Wendy, you make me feel things I haven't felt in a long time." Josie closed the small gap and kissed Wendy.

Wendy immediately kissed back. It was a slow, gentle and passionate kiss. As they pulled away Josie looked Wendy in her eyes as she said. "Be my girlfriend please." Wendy smiled so big and hugged her. "YES!"

After that day everything was going good, everything was perfect, Jade and Penelope were so happy for them, they were excited to see them happy. And Josie was doing great and in a way she knew she was ready to go home.

It had now been a year since they got together, and they couldn't be happier. Jade, Penelope, Wendy, Amy, and Josie were out eating dinner. They were all having a good time, laughing and talking about their day. "So I was talking to my family that I would like to go back home, and I was wondering if you guys would like to come with me?" Josie said, they all looked at her and smiled. "Jo, that would be amazing." Jade said. "Yeah and not to mention we can give Lizzie and Mg their wedding gift, since we weren't able to make it to the wedding." Penelope added.

Josie cleared her throat and turned to Wendy. "What do you say? Would you come with me?" Josie asked nervously. Wendy smiled softly, loving how Josie alway made sure that she was okay with anything and everything. "I would love to babe. But what if your family doesn't like me?" Wendy said, looking down. "No, of course they will love you, because I-" Josie instantly cut herself off, causing Jade and Penelope to look at her with a teasing smile. Josie knew exactly how she felt about Wendy, she knew she loves her, and she loves Amy.

But the truth is she's scared to say it out loud, last time she said that to someone, she left and told her she would never love her. So Josie decided to give it time first. "They will love you, because I talk about you nonstop." Wendy smiled and hugged Josie.

When Josie got home after dropping everyone off, she got a call from Lizzie. "Hey Liz what's up?" "What do you mean? Me, Mg and the family want to know if it's official. Are you coming home?" Josie laughed, she was happy to know her family is missing her like she is missing them. "Yes, it's official, I'm coming home Liz. I'm finally ready." She smiles as she hears everyone on the other side of the phone screaming with happiness.

The news about Josie Saltzman's return flew quickly, everyone who knew and love's Josie was out shopping for a welcome home gift. Freya and Rebekah had just got done shopping when they passed by the mystic grill for some food when they bumped into Hope and Maya holding hands. It was no secret that Hope and Maya started dating a year ago when Hope had refused to hear the truth about Maya, and decided to move on from Josie.

Freya and Rebekah rolled their eyes when they saw them holding hands, Hope saw this and ignored it. "Damn, why so many gifts?" Hope asked. "There for Josie." Fraya said with a smile. "Yeah, Caroline and Josette called us yesterday, they are throwing a welcome back party for her, it's been a while since we've seen her and we're all so excited." Rebekah said with joy. "Plus you're mom, dad and the rest of the family offered to help with the party planning, so they left the shopping to us, they said to go all out." Freya said with excitement.

Hope couldn't believe it, she was going to see Josie again after so long. Without realizing it she let go of Maya's hand causing Freya and Rebekah to silently laugh. 'What if she hates me when she sees me with Maya. I'll just explain how everything went down, that after years of waiting, I decided to give Maya a chance because I didn't think I would see her again.' Hope thought. Hope began to walk out the door when Maya said.

"Where are you going, Hope?" Hope looked back and said. "To buy Josie a welcome back gift." And with that she left, leaving an angry Maya and two happy aunties.

But boy was everyone in for a surprise, for Lizzie, Mg, Caroline, Stefan, Josette, and Alarc, failed to say that Josie wasn't coming back alone.
